I use this all the time although I am not sure how essential the reflection filter is. For podcasts it can be great but if you're also trying to read copy or text the filter can be in the way. The Mic is excellent and there is plenty of length in the mic cord and the base is durable. I recommend.

I have tried recording piano and vocal without any issue. The sound quality is good as other reviews pointed. Paired with Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 (or other models), the recording really stands out.

I ordered this NT1-A CVRS and when I try on my Liquid Saffire 56. Sound was so good that I immediately ordered a second one. This is my 4th microphone from Rode and I love them all. You can't get better microphones for the money what you pay for Rode. Thank you Rode and B&H.

Rode live up to high standards if come to microphones. I have 4 of them. All of them exceeded my expectation. And NT1-A CVRS you could not get better deal for the money. In future I planing purchase one more NT2A and two NT3.

Excellent sound. One note: make sure you sound treat your recording area (a few square feet of foam will do) or the sound will be too bright.

I have only just started using my Rode mic, but so far I am loving it. It was easy to set up (using a Behringer interface.) The sound is great. I am using it to record audiobooks and it seems well suited to this task.
The Mic is great the pop-filter so-so.

The mic is working flawlessly and the pop-filter too. BUT, the pop-filter is straight across from the mic stand connect so it can only do one direction which is away from stand. This makes placement of the stand in your space limited. The filter cannot be angled.

The microphone works great, performance is similar to much more expensive condenser mic. The reason for 4 star is the shock mount construction was not perfectly aligned, it was bent, so the mic and pop filter look crooked to one side of the shock, not aesthetically pleasing
