Got this as a present a few years ago. Finality took it out to put some vocal tracks and the mic is dead. If you tap on the side it makes noise but no vocals. Will Contact guitar center and rode to see what they can do . Crossing fingers

I've only had this mic for a couple weeks now, but so far so good. I bought it after having bad luck w/ the Rode NT1-A. The mic this was replacing was an old Blue Snowball, which served me well for a beginner mic. This is a solid mic for the price and what I would consider a good semipro level mic. It comes in a big wooden box (I actually wish it were smaller and that I could just keep the mic in it without all the foam and packaging), with a very nice manual, a shock mount and a tiny pop filter. The pop filter looks like it's pretty useless so I bought the separate Blue pop filter (The Pop) and that's been decent. The shock mount is great, which is much more than I could say for the one that came w/ the Rode NT1-A. Looking forward to years of music-making with this thing. ... More
