This is my latest lavalier microphone for my motovlogging helmet setup and so far it seems to be exactly what is needed! Sound is much improved and the quality in both the construction and also the resulting audio makes it worth the steep price. Best part is, it is designed to work with the Rode Wireless GO system. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jC1zoSR6RFk

The omnidirectional microphone is perfect for even group settings! Get clean audio from the speaker. We use this microphone for weddings. Attach it to the groom or the efficient and get the audio you need to make your shoot/video edit a success.

The microphone appears to be well-made and works very well; however, the advertised Lavalier clip that was supposed to be included was not in the box. It is difficult to use a Lavalier mic without a Lavalier clip.

I've been battling echoes for a while even after sound treatment I could never seem to get the audio I wanted. Made the mistake of trying an Amazon brand first. Eventually just decided to go with a name I knew I could trust. Of course all mics are all about placement but the tones are great from the Rode. If you're wanting quality sound, don't kid yourself. Just go ahead and buy Rode

I use this lav mic for my YouTube channel and they work great! I upgraded to these from my old Power De Wise mics I got from Amazon. This mic is so much better in sound quality and build quality. They cost twice as much but are very worth it. I use adapters in order to plug it into my phone and record on there in the native recording app. Thank you B&H!

Throw away your Amazon special Lav mic...I did. I didn't think such an expensive mic could make that much of a difference, but it really has. The mic is so quiet even when clothes rub on it. Super clear audio and the pop filter deals well with my sharp S's.

The microphone sound is great. The wire loop on the clip that's supposed to hold the mic, busted off right away. Right away. Possibly just unlucky. The lav wire is also very thin. I'm not sure how durable it will be down the road. I've only done a few interviews with is so far. Happy with sound. Disappointed with construction.

We haven't used these in the 'real world' yet, but tests with our Zoom mics (H1, H2, etc) all turn out great! I wish the mini-jack connector had a 90 degree bend in it... but that's nit-picking. I found some good 90 degree adapters for that. These will be great when we ever have to mic a bride or someone with light colored clothing on.

I've now purchased six of these microphones - three black, and three white. The white units, just like stereo cables, are the Right channels and the blacks are the Left channels. Because they have TRS connectors there's no need for TRRS adapters, thus making my wiring simpler. Small, and very easy to wear for the talent.

If you don't like that bulky black thingy hanging on your collar, or the blue lights on the Wireless GO, then this mic is a must. Sounds professional, and with the Invisilav nobody will ever notice you're bugged.

Great addition BUT fairly expensive for what it is. They should be sold in pairs for the same cost or one for $50. It works great, no adapter needed, and it's rather simple to use. I sold off my more expensive units and have two GO systems for ease of use. Well worth the change. As a run and gun, this lav with the GO makes my life SO MUCH EASIER!!

I use these ALL THE TIME. Not only do they sound great for interviews (depending on where you place it on your talent), but they're so small that they're easy to hide. I use these for narrative films and they work really well. The clip comes off really easily and the length is long enough 99% of the time (I prefer this than too long and causes interference).

I love my Rode Wireless Go, but it needs a lavalier mic. I have the Smart Lav, but had adaptors. This give you the Smart Lav Mic with the proper connector. Sound is the same, which is excellent. Well worth the money.

I didn't think I'd need this, and decided to get it anyway. While the Rode Wireless GO clip on microphone is an excellent choice, having this extra Lavalier Microphone takes recording video up a notch. it did take a bit of getting used to as it picks up sound very well. having the choice of white also helped hide it too.

I have been using a Rode VideoMic for most of my interviews and it was just ok. Wind issues (even with a deadbeat), background interference, etc. So I tried the Rode GoMic and Lavalier system. It cut my post processing to an absolute minimum. Sharp audio with minimal background issues, just a great addition to video arsenal.

Purchased this for an application that would not accommodate the 1/8 screw on locking Sennheiser lav we usually use, it works well enough, but we find this cord length to be a bit short.

So I purchased it and not even a month, became defective. I plug it to my zoom h1n but it doesn't hear my audio anymore. It was good when it worked but it no longer works.

I've used this multiple times since receiving it. It is convenient and less obtrusive. Not sure it sounds any better than the onboard mic, but it looks a lot better. Fragile, so take care of it. Sensitive to wind, the foam windscreen ain't gonna cut it outdoors.

Needed a solid lav & this was it. Not sure if how it compares to cheaper lavs, but this paired nicely with my rode wireless go II! I shoot with canon & had to lower my recording level in-camera to capture from the lav properly ~
