Stable af. Tiny latency, incredible sound, and just so freakin' solid. Also, the routing in this thing is crazy: it's a loopback hero. I use it at work for recording Voiceover, but also for Zoom calls, etc. And of course, for recording sessions. This is it. This is the apex of my Interface search. I don't think you can get any better without going DAC. Beyond thrilled with this.

I prefer the original babyface, sounds more natural, bigger bass, more aggressing mids, but the pro sounds like its made for jazz, its to clear and lacking bass.

It does what you want it to do when you tell it to do so. TotalMix FX is confusing at first, but once you get it, it's insanely useful. RME are incredibly helpful with their customer service, too. I have absolutely no complaints about the product and would definitely recommend this to others.

Beautifully compact, sounds fantastic with exceptionally low noise floor, very easy to use for basic tracking, and has as many possible expansions and capabilities as you could want in an interface of this size.

Still a great product in 2017. Nothing touches the original Babyface for the money ($300 used). The Pro model is louder and features even better latency but the value you get on the used market is incredible. Will also work with your iPad ;-)

The BabyFacePro is a great interface and rivals even my Focursite ISA ONE. I can't honestly tell much difference between the sound quality for both except the ISA One has a bit more character. For one thing, the BFP puts my old interface, Audient id4 to shame imo and TotalMix is a total joy.

This is a great interface! There's a little bit of a learning curve to using it, but once you get that it becomes super easy. Sound is fantastic. Highly recommended.

RME makes the best USB drivers. Mac or PC. The sound is neutral, pristine and uncolored in a pleasant way. FS model was just released with even better specs!
