The micropohone works great. It's clear and catches the smallest sound. Shipping was excellent. Being in Hawaii, it usually takes awhile before we received products from the mainland. But B&H shipped out the item immediately and I received it right on time without delay.

So i have other lavalier microphones that work when i plug them into an ipad or my phone, but when i tried with these mics, there was ZERO difference projected. I then tried it on a canon camera and still didnt see a difference. I am not sure ..maybe the batteries were old...or something wrong? The reviews were great thats why i purchased these.

I bought it cuz of an emergency. I needed something fast that could help me record audio and I have been using it for many things. Very good range, good quality. I will buy a more professional one later on, but I will definitely keep this one as back up. It works awesome!
Good mic for a low budget / backup

This is a good backup mic to have on hand, just in case. The long cord allows you to feed it right into the camera and interview a subject. It will never pass as a $ or $ mic, but for $ it doesn't sound like you're using the onboard mic (i.e. unprofessional.)

I bought the kit and it comes with Poulsen headphones. I like that these are the same brand. However, the little windscreen probably won't last too long. It's super tiny and easy to lose. It is not in the picture.

I love this mic. It clips on easily and is long enough so that the camera can be a good ways away from whoever is mic'd. I use it a lot for interviewing and it picks up clear audio. The wind cover immediately ripped, though.

Did not expected by Polsen products. Very disappointed. Cable damaged inside, if you touching to damaged place mic working otherwise don't working!

I use this for wedding videography. Plugged in to a zoom H1 and clipped on the the groom this picks up everything i need nice and clear. A great low budget audio solution. Highly recommended

The mics are used to provide sound in a variety of locations for a weekly prep sports preview for a midwestern newspaper. So far they seem to be just the ticket to supply crisp, clear, audio in a variety of circumstances.

So far, I've only used this lav mic indoors and hooked up directly to a Zoom H2, but it works very good for me so far. I'm impressed with the clarity of the sound, especially for something so inexpensive. I'd definitely recommend this mic to anybody looking for a lav.

Works better than the in camera mic of my D800 but definitely not pro quality. Great for making little youtube videos in a quiet space but otherwise, I would go the next step up. Price can't be beat.

I got this lav for video, have used it a couple times with an H2 in outdoor and indoor environments for interviews (interviewee had H2 in her pocket). The sound was better than I expected, no noticeable ambient noise, voice clear. Have to boost levels in post but otherwise perfect so far.

I am a amateur videographer on a budget. I found this mic, it had decent reviews and was great for my budget. So far, I have been very please with the sound quality of this product. I use it along with a boom mic so I get ambient sound as well. I wish they had a comparable wireless mic.

For $ its a perfect choice! If you have an H4n... And I have an H4n. If I didn't then I wouldn't buy this because of wiring would be annoying and recording on the camera... The sound is OKAY, but good for the price. The wire is too long for my taste while using an H4n, but long would be good for a person without an H4n. We should have an option to have long or short wire and make the standard size of the wire shorter and include an extension. Check my video that shows the product off - @ ... More
Snaps and Pops first use

Unfortunately, the first time using this mic out of the box had snapping and popping in all the audio with an on location shoot. Like there is a short in the wiring... Not good. Can't return past 30 days... Not good either. Hopefully the Polsen will replace.

I have used this lavalier microphone for two investor videos, and the sound quality has been great. It seems to be pretty sturdy as the cord got caught in one of the subject's shoe lace and got a pretty hard yank. I was sure it broke a wire, but there have been no problems.

Used this while creating video tutorials, purchased seperate mic's previously but always encountered an echo and other common issues. This device provided an enexpensive alternative. The long cord added ease of use even though it is not wireless.
