Have used these as straight up lavaliers and modified to be used as parabolic mics, surprised by the good sound quality. But watch out for the easily damaged thin cord.

Everyone says the cord is too long. Not sure why his would be a problem. The sound quality is great.

I definitely wouldn't buy this! It is actually quieter than the internal mic of my Osmo pocket. I bought it because I needed a TRS connection, but later I bought a $20 pop voice mic with an adapter and it's much better.

the sound quality is not very good. But if you are not doing serious recording, it is hard to beat the price. The cord can be a plus or minus depending on what you do.

I bought this mic just over one year ago. I've used it maybe 4 times. I went to use it today and the static was ridiculous. I tried everything to minimize the noise. Then at one point it sounded fine and I thought I'd solved the problem. Nope. It started up again. I guess you get what you pay for.

it's innexpensive, and it does the job. works with dslr. i havent done extensive tests, but it probably isnt pro quality or durability.

5 stars for the price, small size, and decent performance. Battery life is so-so. Cords not high quality and tend to tangle. I'm happy enough to buy my second one for another camcorder.

I'll use this to narrate video clips of animals at our shelter. The only problem with this mic was that the cord is 20 feet. Way more than I need but I just tie it up.

This mic works well with dslr cameras. It has a long cable so it is a nice low cost alternative to a wireless mic.

I've only used it once, for an interview I video-ed (I ran the microphone cable directly into the camera) but the sound is excellent. A superb product for the price!

great value, great quality sound. i used this in a loud park with kids playing and airplanes flying every 2 minutes and it sounded great while isolating those background noises.

This is a pretty decent mic, price aside. There is a slight hiss but not bad at all. The long cord really helps get the camera farther away and not in the interviewee's face.
