I use this in my home office, where I'm typically one international conference calls for four to six hours a day. I needed a headset that was comfortable, with very high quality audio, both inbound and outbound. And, ideally, wireless so I can move around if I need to. This headset is extremely disappointing. I did quite a bit of research before buying, and it was not cheap. But compared to my old Plantronics wired GN2000, it's a non-starter. First, comfort: this headset is extremely comfortable with good, intuitive controls. Noise cancellation seems to work well, but since I'm in a quiet environment to begin with, that's not really a factor for me. Audio quality: inbound quality is good. Outbound quality is bad. My colleagues have complained multiple times about how quiet the signal is, on calls. With the poor outbound audio quality as well as the regular breakup of signal (see below), I have determined that this headset is, essentially, unusable for its primary purpose which is to handle web conferences. Wireless connection: terrible. I have this headset connected via bluetooth to a brand new macbook pro. I connect straight to the macbook, and do not use the supplied USB dongle (although I have tried that setup and it does not help). Regular breakup of the audio signal on calls has forced me to stop using this headset entirely. I cannot stay on a conference for more than 5-10 minutes before my colleagues start to complain that my voice is breaking up. I am always in my smallish home office, seated in a chair with the headset 6-7 feet away from my laptop. All, in all, aside from comfort which is great, this headset was a very poor investment, and extremely disappointing. I have gone back to my old, wired GN-2000 which, although not nearly as comfy or convenient, at least has the high grade in/out audio that is required in order to conference effectively. ... More

I would give 2.5 stars if I could. First of all the microphone should be longer, as they have done it on PLT model (or at least an inch longer). That would help with better voice quality. All of the people I talk to over the phone tell me the same... I sound like I am standing 3-5 feet away from the microphone. They can here me, but they ask me to come closer to the microphone. The second thing I don't like is the active noise cancellation is way too week. I did not expected it to be as good as my Sony MDR-1000X, but expected to closer to Beats Studio 2 or something... I would say it blocks only 15-20% of the noise comparing to SONY MDR-1000X, and maybe 35-40% compared to Beats Studio 2. Maybe it would block better if the ear-pads would be larger and over the ear, so the noise itself would be blocked better by passive NC... Now I conciser the active NC as almost non existing, or useless for these head sets... Other than these two issues I think these headsets are pretty good. Quality and options are OK, and sound quality is in line with the price. I think these headsets would be pretty good for someone who works in the office with other loud coworkers, who are located at least 6-7 feet away from you. I would assume that other coworkers would be heard in your conversation over the phone because of how short the microphone is. ... More

Taking calls in an office with background noise - especially loud server and HVAC fans. We had complaints from customers about loud background noise even though we had noise canceling microphone in a wired headset. the noise canceling mic in these headsets does a GREAT job - even when standing next to the loudest fan. completely eliminated the background noise! bluetooth range is excellent too. This is paired to a CISCO SPA 525G IP office phone. the lack of an instruction booklet is lame. It does use 2 usb connections. The one is just for power, so you can just plug that into an outlet usb if you don't want to use up a USB slot on your computer. The 2nd one is if you are going to stream music and/or take calls on your computer. ... More

The first unit was non-functional and had to be sent back. I was disappointed to learn that both B&H Photo and Plantronics charged me for return shipping. I'll be less likely to buy from either in the future. The second unit was functional. It works well on Android and Linux. But the volume is very loud and hurts my ears. The sidetone (where it echos your voice back to you when you speak) is really loud and cannot be disabled. I called support and they said they don't expect it to be possible to disable the sidetone or reduce the volume any further. After a month of trying to learn to speak softer, I'm tired of the headaches and ear aches; I'm buying a different headset. This unit can no longer be returned, so I'm stuck with an expensive paper weight. ... More

The sound quality is good, people like how I sound on the mic, and I love the noise suppression, but the firmware is lacking. Their is no option to chose which device of the paired devices you want to connect to, no choice of which one it's talking two of the two active devices of the 8 paired, and the app integration is a bit lacking. It works better with its own BT600 audio adapter than it does to a native bluetooth, but still the BT600 audio adapter is not a bluetooth adapter, but a USB Audio adapter that speaks bluetooth. (so the only way to turn it off so you can connect to a different device is to pull it out of the USB slot, you can't disable it in the OS blue tooth setting. The battery life is as advertised, but the recharge is relatively slow. ... More

Criteria: Bluetooth, Good quality stereo music via cell or PC; clear phone calls using cell phone. The headset delivers: Stereo music better presence and clarity than my HIFI system until a phone call comes in. Answers the phone when you put on the headset. Tells you battery and connection status. Almost impervious to outside noise, your conversation is like you are in a soundproof booth, according to other end of call. A bit tight on the ears which you don't notice when you are listening or talking. Sometimes difficult to get it to switch between PC and cell phone, may be something I don't know how to set up yet. Meets my needs. B&H service was excellent, delivery came a day earlier than promised. ... More

This is a GREAT headset. Paired with my new iPhone 7. The music audio is fantastic, along the lines of my favorite Bowers & Wilkins P5's. Even without active noise cancelling, background noise is minimized. Great on aircraft. The telephone audio is just like the proven Voyager Legend. People think I am sitting in a sound studio. Operations and pairing is easy. The controls are relatively intuitive. Charging cradle looks goofy, but works well. Drop in. Easy. I love it!

I've heard people say they will never trust a Bluetooth headset, so I was a little worried after sinking some significant money into this, but it has only disconnected in the middle of a call twice. (And reconnecting to the laptop took about 3 seconds.) The noise cancellation is phenomenal. I take to take a meeting from a busy and loud airport and I was told that nobody could hear any background noise. THAT'S a pretty remarkable testament!

This headset is very comfortable, has excellent battery life, and works with competent software from Poly if you choose to download it. I use the included Bluetooth adapter on my PC along with 2 other Bluetooth adapters for wireless mice so I can switch hands when needed and I've experienced no Bluetooth interference. This is an excellent value and I love being able to pace around on phone calls during work.

A company I work for is highly virtualized and feeling comfortable during meetings is very important. I was not very fond with the company-issued headset so when one of my coworkers got this one I asked to try and fell in love with it. The best part is quality - from physical touch on your ears - and I wear glasses, those people, who also do should understand what I'm talking about,- to the voice quality, to ergonomics. So far I can't even think of anything that I don't like.

Pros: * automatically warns when you talk while you're muted * integrates its mute button to the software you're using * does very well at blocking background noise (it blocked literal jackhammering in my basement) Cons: * pretty expensive * not as comfortable for longterm use (on my head at least) as much cheaper gaming headsets * inconvenient placement of the mute button

Great quality at a reasonable price. These have great sound and noise cancelling. Other folks in my meetings comment on how clear I sound on the other end and are surprised when I tell them it is a Bluetooth headset. All around good product for a fair price.

I bought these specifically to use with my Ring Central soft phone, and they work great. Extra pluses: They sit on a stand that has a chip that will hang up the call when you put the headphones back in their stand and recognizes when you've taken them off the stand and put them on. Also, they are bluetooth and I can walk all over the house (I have a home office) without dropping voice quality.

This is one of the best affordable headsets that I have tried. It does everything I need for my business. One drawback is that when calling from a computer you cannot tap the headset to hang up the call. However, I love this headset!!
