I have a couple of these and they are a great little mics. They are tough and affordable, the quality is almost unbeatable for the price! And they sound just as good as some of the top end stuff I have (Shure). We got one for our drummer (Thinking he needs not to be heard too much) and we could hear how badly he didn't need a mic after all, so now I use it! I recomend this mic for any musician, It's just a good mic to have.

This has to be one of the most underrated mics out there. The range is outstanding and haven't had an issue with sound quality at any frequency within that range. Only had it a couple weeks so we'll see how it holds out with a lot of use. I used it playing an outdoor picnic hooked into a bose system and I was using a vocal harmony/effects processor and it really shined at high levels with heavy reverb, echo and harmony effects. Feels very sturdy and solid, good weight too, not to light. It really holds its own against the sm58 which costs more than twice as much. I would say definitely the best dynamic stage mic under $50, and I don't say that frivolously either cause I have owned a lot of mics, plus I've reviewed many more. And I should mention that I've worked in sales at a music shop. But read the reviews yourself, a lot of 5 stars. Plus I recommend the seller, who accepted my offer below retail, and he shipped fast. ... More

It has a great sound but it is very sensitive and picks up everything....When putting it in the mic stand you should shut it off or it makes lots of noise...

This is a great mic with lots of pickup and durability. We use it for all of our vocals, in fact we just purchased our third one. The PVi2 can defiantly hold its own with the higher priced mics, and leave you with some extra money for more gear.
