With first use, off-camera, and using an extension cable, this microphone proved to be useful and economical. I haven't used it on camera, nor tested it in various condition yet, but so far, so good.

The micriphone does not eliminate the noise from the lens focusing in quite scenes. If there is plenty of noise then it is an improvement over the camera's own system.

Pros: 1. Stereo 2. better quality than the in-camera one 3. small, easy to carry Cos: 1. Not directional - it will pick up any sound as your ear can hear any where, every where 2. looks so fragile Conclusion: do NOT buy.
