I am a musician with a number of years experience setting up live sound and performing publicly. I was tasked at my church to set up an inexpensive PA system in the fellowship hall for periodic presentations and question & answer events. I installed 8 Polk bookshelf speakers through the room at the ceiling level and repurposed a used stereo receiver as the PA amp. I needed to find the right combination of microphones that would fit our needs, this Nady wireless pair is just right at a much better price than I expected to find. The default UHF channels the mics were set at fit in just fine with the other existing frequencies used at church so I didn't have to change the settings. (It looks pretty easy to do in the manual, by the way.) The only adjustment I had to make was to lower the volume setting of the handheld mic a bit to match the lapel mic volume. Now we have a lapel mic that a presenter can wear so they are heard through the room plus a handheld mic that can be used on a stand for a second presenter or passed person to person in the audience for question and answer discussions. An interesting side effect of using a mic for questions is that it works like a "talking stick" where people keep quiet until they get the mic and then speak out. We're very pleased with these microphones: the sound is clear, the wireless range is just fine, the battery life is pretty good and the price was pleasantly low. ... More

One mic of the two wouldn't work with 2 AA rechargeable batteries, not sure why? Also, one mic, used by the lead singer, cut out intermittently while moving around on stage. Sound quality was excellent, easy to use, great value, not yet sure about the reliability (only used on two performances so far....

I bought this for using live since I perform with 2 guitars. The sound quality is great for the price, and it's great for someone who doesn't move around much on stage, but the biggest drawback is the cable for the body packs. I've had mine for only 2 months, only using it at 2 shows and the cabling is not durable. It will cut in and out while on stage. I might also add that the cable is around 3ft long, so you have to wrap it around your strap quite a bit. Overall, it's a decent unit. I just wouldn't recommend using it for someone who moves around much on stage or it will wear out your cables fast. If you have Pro Coverage it will cover any of these issues though! ... More

We put a lapel microphone on our Pastor to enhance the sound thru our video and it made a big difference. We put the other microphone in the praise team. It seemed to get dropped and damage the grille and it cuts in and out now.

Great deal and sound, but buy more clips. First time I went to use it publicly, the clip broke, and the windscreen rolled away. It is a great little system, just order more clips and windscreens when you order them.
