Great mic for not a lot of money. Perfect instrument microphone for live shows. Helped clean up the sound from the guitar amp coming through the main speakers.

I have 2 snares and 3 rack toms. I play gigs 3 out of 4 weeks per month. I use these mics and have found them irreplaceable for the price. They aren't as big as other mics, have rubber surrounds and EQ nicely. I don't care for the drum mounts that came with them. I bought Samson drum mounts and easily switched them out. I use a DM80 for my floor tom for low end punch. I just can't see myself switching to another drum mic, unless I'm given some kind of endorsement deal. Honestly...

I play cajon live with a 3 piece acoustic group. I was initially skeptical about this drum mic, considering the low price. I use it as the main microphone, mounted just behind the sound hole of my LP Cajons. It catches both bass and snare well. It can be a bit touchy until you get it dialed in on the sound board, but once it's set, this little mic is a work horse.

I record alot of indian percussion and the mic keeps the loud hits in check and seems to work great on any percussion. good for the price.

I use it to mic my bongos above the Congas. It picks up the cymbal as well. Great clarity. A great mic for the money. As a gigging musician i would definitely recommend it

I've had two of these mics for about 5 months, and haven't run into any problems. I use them for toms, snare, guitar cabs, and even vocals. They sounds great, and I'll probably buy more soon. I'd definitely recommend them.

the DM70 is my first instr mic so Im learning about frequencies. It's great for many uses including harmonica, Well built, the rubber mount is secured by the threaded nut, so it can easily be removed. The thread/adapter sizes are perfect for my "On Stage" basic mic stands.
