I got two of these for drum overheads. I got them on a deal of the day price but they're certainly sonically capable of microphones twice their price. They smear just right in the high mids to alleviate some of those annoying frequencies.
I would buy this again.

I'm not a huge microphone tech. I don't critique every aspect of what a mic does or does not do. But for my own use, I love this mic. It does what I need it to do. I'm sure there are other mics that are better, but I will take this mic any day.

We use this to mic out baby grand in the church sanctuary. i keep the piano cover closed, or it picks up my vocals as I sing and play. Works well, has a brighter tone than the old mic we used.

I was surprised on how good this mic sounded.. I'm using a Tascam 8 track recorder and the vocals and guitar come through great. Especially for the price. It's well worth the money.

Use this mic for recording, it has clean sound, easy to set up, replacing two mics that were much more expensive, does as good a job.
