I was very disappointed that in the package was not a matching blue shockmount like with my surf green MXL 990. It's still a good mic, but I paid a $25 premium for the custom paint. I would get the black one if I could do it over. The 990 and 770 are both great.

This microphone is lit! I have used for five songs and all of sound excellent. I love the switches on the microphone. The both play in favor of the way my studio is setup. Overall, this a great microphone for the price and what it comes with it?

I'm extremely pleased with this mic and the shock mount and case is a really nice 'extra'. Clean sound and no issues that I'm able to detect. For an amateur like me this is a nice value. Recommend without reservation!

Great appeal, nice sound ( rich and full ). Nice suspension system and good working case. Solid choice for the money. I was just a bit surprised the even with phantom power, I chose a inline amp to aid with sufficient audio reception for windows 10

i had never had a large diaphragm condenser mic, only small ones, field recorders, and dynamics, but i am very impressed with this. astonished really. so glad i bought it.

Picked up two of these 770's for use in recording podcasts, as guest mics. Impressive sound quality, and feel nicely constructed. There is a red warning regarding condenser mics and close proximity recording... suggests the purchase and use of pop filter or foam windscreen to keep from damaging ribbon. Time, a good quality pop filter and common sense handling should tell. All in all, pretty nice (and quiet) sounding mic.

These are great, very clear and crisp. Comes in a case so when on the move you dont have to just stuff them in a bag. Color is very nice too.

The 770 captured softly spoken words clearly and a Pop Filter helped make all takes usable allowing me to focus on the aesthetics of the read.
