When the drivers work it's wonderful; no mess MIDI matrixing works well with my DAW (Cakewalk). But the drivers haven't been updated since I believe 2011 and I'm using Windows 10. Sometimes the MOTU will show up in my MIDI configuration in Cakewalk, sometimes it hasn't. I had to reinstall the drivers and so far so good. I read it's best to disable the Power Management option for USB ports in Device Manager. Also the unit will only work in a USB 2.0 port so I had to rearrange some cables. Time will tell if the drivers continue to be stable. ... More

Had an outdated interface that needed replacing as it was no longer supported. Replaced it with the MOTU. Installation was a breeze, operation simple, flexibility enormous. Love the mixing control screen. Works flawlessly with my DAW. Not much more to ask for.

Motu kept it simple with this one...plug and play right out of the box! DAW and sequencing software saw the ports right away, no issues whatsoever. Runs off of USB power so no wall wart or power switch either. Simple simple simple! Great product from a name you can trust. ...

First I was surprised the power for this interface is through USB. Been using the unit in ramping up for score to picture and it works perfectly. Gregory Hinde / film composer

Bought this to replace an old MTP AV Parallel unit due to a new system build. No issues so far; it does everything I need it to do.

Does what it claims to, no more no less. A reliable, accurate MIDI interface.

I use to transfer data to and from the computer for several midi devices. It was a replacement for my Midiman MX8 which unfortunately started having continutal problems and unreliability after many years of problem free operation. The ME 128 is working all right, but as a replacemnt it is disappointing. It lacks many of the features of the MX8, having no SPMTE capability, and it cost more. I'm sorry that the MX8 was discontinued with no successor.
