Although I have high quality mic pre amps, I wanted something that would allow me to record multiple tracks in high quality in a more portable format; so far, this is off to an excellent start. Setting it up was very quick and easy, and I am impressed with the sound quality. I should note that while this is Thunderbolt compatible, it ships with a USB cable only.
