This unit is very inexpensive but its way overpriced. First of all, the first one I received worked for 5 minutes before the audio lights both came on red(overload). Mind you no mikes were plugged in, and a loud buzz in the headphones. I sent it back for a replacement and received one. It worked for about 30 minutes before it did the same thing but even when it worked it was poor, leakage between in and out, turning the input up too far,it goes into oscillation with or without a mike plugged in. Its really a piece of crap. I bought a different brand and it has been working fine. Don't waste money, its NO GOOD. ... More

Does not connect to iOS devices. This wasn't mentioned at all in the product description or the manual when product arrived. I found out from Sweetwater of all places—which recommends three options: 1. Use an Apple USB Power Adapter: I can plug it into the wall and use the M-TRACK's direct audio outs into an actual interface or through my headphones? 2. A USB "Breakout" cable, which looks like it will involve some soldering. 3. An official Apple Camera Connection Kit: So I can plug it into my phone, but not my iMac, for another $39 + shipping. Not only does it not connect to my Mac at all, it's encased on lightweight cheap plastic made to look like brushed metal—so feeling a little like I've been lied to twice now. Might work fine on a PC. I wouldn't know. ... More

Product is great for the price in every area but one. It claims it comes with software compatable with all windows versions (which was a huge factor in my choosing it) but it's not. The driver is but the DAW's can only run on Windows 10 64-bit. Other than that one product flaw my experience with B&H photo was great. Shipped quick and arrived on time.

As a basic USB audio device, it works fine, but the Windows 10 drivers are extremely buggy, dropping in and out, and completely non-functional in Davinci Resolve. Resolve doesn't use ASIO, so it's not a huge problem to use the defaults, but it means the device doesn't have great latency for recording. It also feels pretty cheap. I would have gone with the Focusrite instead.

This is fantastic!, I had an old interface which had some latency issues, tried pretty much everything but nothing solved them; went for this one because of the dual microphone/instrument input and I love it!. It is so intuitive and easy to use that even if you haven't use an interface before you should be able to use this one in just a couple of minutes.

I bought this device to record guitar, vocals and stereo record my e-drum kit. However all it is at present is a glorified sound card. Pro Tools no longer supports Pro tools First, and this device has trounced PT and Cakewalk on my system. My older interface doesn't correct this, argh! So, do I have to get a new computer to run this device?

I have this, as well as the 'mono' single-channel, on all my Electro-Vioce RE20 microphones. It is simply the best performer, generating almost no-noise from the very low output microphones. Most impressive!

Mainly use it for tracking guitar. Love it. Very convenient. Time saving.

The drivers didn't work well with my laptop, it could be my laptop but it has windows 10

I bought this because it came with basic DAW software. The ProTools download website has been down for 12 hours. Kinda makes this product a brick unless I want to go get some other DAW software, but I bought it based on the Pro Tools basic software that was supposed to come with it.

Not compatible with Apple devices. It might make a good boat anchor though, if I could figure out how to add some weight to it.

For the price, you can't beat this thing. It works well and has ASIO drivers no less.
