I utilize M-Track 2X2 for recording vocals; and it is a great audio interface. I have been using M-Audio products ever since the Digidesign MBox 2 and I am still satisfied with their products.

I just wanted to use my m-audio monitor's on my desktop and the 2x2 hooked me up and now I see it does even more!

Worked great for the short 8 months it lasted before it stopped powering on. Never purchasing an M-Audio product again.

i bought this unit because my focusrite 214 went bad so i bought this because of its style , it look nice and easily accessible on a desk , being that the knob are slanted vertically but it sounds cheap .. the vocals are clear but they're too clear .. TOO SHARP sounding if you know what i mean .. the focus right had a warmer sound .. much better for vocals .. when i first boght the focusrite i was surprised how well it sounded for its price .. its a much better value .. needless to say im returning the m-audio back to guitar and getting me another focusrite , and when that one breaks im buying a new one ... It's ok for what it is. Very limited functionality, but good if it's just you recording at home. The large knob in the center seems useless. I have turned it both directions during instrument and vocal recording and it did nothing. It's also a large item, about twice the size of the M-Audio interface I used previously.
