This is a cleary well built and well packaged mic from Joby with decent POP filter included, with the added benefit of attaching further Joby (or other brand) products to the mic or stand such as camera/phone/tripod/boom arm and there is also a heaphone jack. The desk stand is sturdy and I didn't experience and vibrations, though not taken it to extreme noise levels. You can also completely remove the mic from the stand, so super versatile. The main button in the middle illuminates blue to adjust headphone volume but holding button for 2 seconds it illuminates purple for gain adjusting. Press again for red which means the mic is muted. Something really clever is that has 2 polar pick up patterns, one for use when picks up the noise directly in front (cardioid), the other one which picks up from both sides (omnidirectional), great for interviewing with one mic and you choose the option pushing the Pattern button. You can purchase an extra POP filter to put on the oppsite side. This mic uses USB C and there is a 2m C-C cable and a 3m C-A. Sound quality I found to be better than expected. My daughter streams content and sings, she happily used it with ease. I have many on-line meetings so have used that instead of my internal mic to practice and I found that you need to play around to get the right distance as it makes a difference to the quality of the sound. I have been using the Joby Wavo Pod for a few days now. It is designed with creators and podcasters in mind, but works great for daily use with video calls, which is the case for me. The audio is very clear at the other end. I use it with a Macbook and set the audio output to my headphones and input via the Wavo Pod and it works like magic. There is also an audio jack input underneath the mic where you can plug your headphones in for audio output. The audio is 24bit 48Khz. It is plug and play and didn't need any installations for me on Macbook. It has USB C connection and comes with 2 premium feeling cables for USB C and USB A connection to the laptop. It has versatile options for attaching to brackets. I have been using standing on the desk but can't wait to try it with a bracket. The red pop filter increase the sound clarity and reduce plosive sound. There is the option to attach an extra filter to the other side. It has 2 pattern options; cardioid and omni directional. Cardioid picks up the sounds in front of the mic, whereas omni directional picks up sound all around. I have been using cardioid mostly on my video calls. You can switch between patterns via the button at the front of the mic. The mic mod can be controlled with the big button at the front and the led light shows the mod you are on; blue is for headphone levels, purple is for mic gain and the red light is when the mic is on mute. First off I want to just say how amazing this microphone is, straight out of the box it was super simple plug and play, as a game streamer I’m constantly engaging with people and it’s paramount that my followers can hear me also when playing with my team mates communication is key, so with a microphone that has crisp and clear sound is a win and the Joby Wavo POD does just that. It features a 3.5mm headphone connection allowing you to plug in any compatible headphones allowing to listen to your sound but also your voice as your are taking or recording your content, it also features volume control and a mute feature which is helpful for quick adjustments. Other features include a table mount which can be adjusted to your perfect position and is removable to allow you to add the microphone to a mounting bracket or clamp, it comes with two usb connectors usb-c to usb-c or a usb type A to usb-c. I purchased this Wavo POD microphone for podcasting and streaming from Joby and I have been in love with it ever since. This product has been designed as a quicker way to play and stream straight away. The product comes in a medium sized box and contains 1x Wavo POD microphone, 1x USB Type-C to USB and 1x USB Type-C to USB Type-C cable. The microphone looks sleek and modern. I absolutely adore this item as it has many fantastic features for example it is high quality, it has an built in volume, mute, gain controls and includes headphone port, omnidirectional and directional recording patterns, a pop filter accessory which is included for a cleaner broadcast voice. My favourite parts about this product definitely has to be the quality of it as it makes your voice sound soft, warm and extremely clear. Bought Joby WAVO pod microphone a few weeks back and i am super excited about it. First of all, its easy to set up and use, very straight forward. Most importantly, the sound quality is amazing and you can hear a big step up from built in mics on devices (like cameras, phones, laptops etc). I believe its a perfect microphone for podcasters, streamers and youtubers if you dont want to invest too much money, but still upgrade your sound quality. As well as the sound quality i really enjoy the appereance of Joby WAVO pod, its minimal, sleek and stylish, great for recordings on video where you can see it. Im glad I chose Joby product as I used other type of their microphones for years and never been dissapointed. My plan is to get another one of Joby WAVO pod mics and start my new podcast I was thinking about for years. Its nice that its lightweight and so easy to travel with since I travel a lot and often create my content on the go. First things first. Simple. So simple to set up, plug USB into laptop and off you go, cant get easier than that! Next for the design, this microphone is designed so well, its sturdy and very well made and definitly easy on the eyes! Quite heavy so it isnt going anywhere fast. Absolutely love the sound quality so crisp and clean and 100% can tell ive upgraded. Even had compliments whilst in a zoom meeting!! Definitely one to reccommend and doubt very much ill be swaying from Joby in the future. 10/10

I love the Joby Wavo POD. It has so many uses and I’m still thinking of new ideas. The microphone was straight forward to set up. I was able to link with my laptop with ease. I was able to enjoy online meetings and came across very clear. Sound quality is amazing for the price point. For a laugh my children and I made a joke podcast for our family to enjoy and it was a lot of fun. Excellent product!

If you’re looking for a “beginner” mic for your podcasts this might be a decent option, I found the sound to be OK, although not as crisp as I would have liked it and there is certainly room for improvement. Have only tried it indoor in a fairly quiet room so can’t comment on noise reduction, I have noticed that sound at times could come out a bit muffled and I felt that happens when I wasn’t standing close enough to it.

I have been using the microphone mainly with the PS5. Audio is clear and the microphone is excellent at removing any background noise. My voice was picked up perfectly. Physically the microphone feels well built being a combination of metal and plastic. The addition of a physical volume slider and mute but is great for ease of use, the angle of the device is always adjustable enabling the perfect placement to pick up audio.

I am absolutely blown away with this microphone, the quality of sound it records is wonderful. I’m really impressed that it literally just needs plugging into you device and it works straight away, no need to download drivers . This is the first electronic item that I have that has worked with my MacBook and iPhone, I didn’t have to buy adapters to get it to work. Brilliant bit of kit for those wanting to record podcasts or video interviews. Worth it 100%

Well made good strong body... Easy one switch for live, gain and mic mute... Can easily be mouted to an arm... Pop filter is actually good and works well... Usb plug and play... And sound quality is exceptional with background sounds like keyboard clicks muted well... Can be used for steaming or podcasting... Great microphone competing with the best on the market... Will be using this as my main steaming mic...

I do like this little microphone but i wouldnt say that its better than my inbuilt phone mic which is a shame as i had to buy an adapter to create content on my mobile. On older devices this may be a godsend as it seems to be better on my laptop. It definately adds a little visual finesse to ny video calls.

Setting up couldn't have been more simpler. USB to computer literally. The microphone can be disconnected and you can adjust the height and control the volume. I must say the recordings I've tried out were extremely clear. Not only does it work wonders but the design is trendy and its built sturdy. Quality is perfect for podcasts or recording yourself

This is a really impressive microphone that my family has been using for streaming on our PC. Was easy to set up and the sound is really good, very clear and crisp. Great user friendly controls on the front of the mic. It’s also really easy to screw on a tripod if needed. In all we’re very happy with it.
