I'm Using my iRig2 for FaceBook Live. Differently by far the best improvement for Audio input from sound system to Iphone or Android. for me it is a Wonderful investment and I'm using regular stereo headphones, for monitoring, The Input I'm currently coming of Headphone jack Via YAMAHA LS9 AUDIO DECK. Tested and adjusted my Audio levels set LIVE and here we go. Oh yes 1/8 stereo from Board to 1/4 Stereo to iRig2 input. that's our 2 cent worth of Info. (smiles)

This is a passive device (no battery). It seems to work fine on my Macbook Pro, and works OK on my Android LG phone with the "Deplike" free app. However it does NOT work with the Amplitube free app on the same phone - Amplitube seems not to sense this device as an input, even though the iRig2 is advertised and sold in-app . This is strange because the Amplitube demos can be heard through the iRig2 - i.e. it does work as an output device (basically it passes the headphone out on the phones straight through to its own headphone out ). ... I bought the product because of the indication that it works with Android devices. When I was testing, I found that only work with specific Android devices, and that my smartphone (Moto MAXX) is not supported.

They sent me 2 of these for free when I purchased a guitar. It's basically trash. Only works with older apple devices not newer ones and not androids. I didn't want it, it was added to my order automatically. I'll be throwing them in the trash without ever even opening them up. It seems they know they are trash so are giving them away like stinky checks in 2020. Thanks but yeah no thanks.

The iRig2 device is pretty good, compact and it works. My son uses it to connect his guitar to his iPad. I like that you can monitor the sound through the headphones or amp. One advise, for those newbies (like myself) looking into it, you want to make sure you have 2 guitar cords so you can feed the signal coming from the iPad to your amp. I didn't take that into consideration and had to wait a few days to have an extra cord delivered, otherwise, you can monitor it using headphones.

Wanted to use this interface to play guitar through my headphones and have the option to go out to an amplifier. Having the extra output to an amplifier is nice but there was too much loss in quality of sound for me. I also got better sound from my 1st generation apogee jam when going through my headphones.

Don't believe the cranky reviews by the technologically inept, especially Android people. I use it on a MacBook Pro with ToneBridge and there is tone and feedback controls. Also use it with iPad, iPhone and GarageBand. Super easy. Wish I had it when I started playing 40 years ago, though glad I just recently found it.

Works great when running our church sound system through to me though camera for live streaming. Sound is perfectly clear with no distortion.

Lets me plug my guitar into my iphone and use the numerous apps available to practice at night and not bother anyone. Amplitude also gives you a tuner and metronome as well as some basic amp models. Only two reasons I did not give 5 stars are that bluetooth headphones do not work since you have to plug into the Irig and amplitude does not include a clean sound in the free version.

It works but it was not easy to use and sound quality was disappointing. Note that I was using this with a 4 string bass guitar and not a 6 string guitar. I am not able to use it with my current iPhone SE (no headphone jack and I don't have an adapter) so I am using it with an old iPhone 6+. I may give this to a friend who plays 6 string guitar and see what he thinks.

Product is very versatile and does everything, than I expected. It comes with basic software and provides many opportunities for you to spend more money on enhancements. I think the quality is great and add-ons reasonable priced. It's a great tool for connecting your guitar to computer and manipulating the sound to your specifications.

Not suitable for high gain at all. The interface itself feeds back -- even on headphones. There's enough crosstalk in the device that any output will feed back into the input and cause a deafening unpleasant feedback that makes it unusable.

I bought this device as an interface to record guitar into my phone. Its very functional for this purpose, but you can also use it to turn any set of speakers into a guitar amp. Very useful tool, I would recommend to those who like writing and recording on the go.

It is exactly what I imagined it would be like, I can’t tell if it sounds bad or not, which is great and it met all of my expectations. Works with YOUCISIAN, which is why I bought it, in hopes that I could feed my signal through it instead of having the phone by am amp or something.

Didn't work with my Mac or android. I should have trusted all the other bad reviews. Tried to call customer support and all you can do is leave a message. Don't buy this product unless you have an iphone or ipad.

I’ve been using this with my iPhone and the free tonebridge app. After a bit of tweaking the volumes on the phone, Irig and amp, it works great. No issues here and I’d recommend it to anyone.

Works as advertised on iPad, Imac and MacBook Pro. Worth the price, only con seems a little noisy on distorted options even after adjusting gain knob. Would buy again. Worked for me in Garage Band, Logic Pro X and Guitar Rig besides AmpliTube.

Great idea, and I appreciate B&H for the addition, but in all honesty, I have no need for this piece. It works if you want to play your guitar via your phone or another device with a 1/4 mm headphone jack. I'm old school, like it loud..give me an amp!!

I purchased this to use when broadcasting my live DJ sets on FB. The sound quality is way better than when using my iPhone's microphone. No issues whatsoever. I'm glad I made the purchase.
