I use the Heil PR 40 to record the Construction Industry Podcast. Besides the stunning audio performance, the PR 40 is beautifully built and comes with a clip and a protective carrying case.I whole-heartedly recommend this microphone as a fantastic choice for your broadcasting uses.

Clean, natural... a bit hyped on top but can be eq'd. I bought it for kick drums, but it captures a quality of my acoustic guitar that none of my other mics have before. Very happy, and glad I bought a multi-purpose mic instead of a dedicated kick mic. Can't wait to use it on a Bass cab tomorrow and horns in a few weeks. Phil

Rivals my U87 in sound quality. Great, true cardioid functionality with the best rear rejection I've experienced in 35 years of dealing with sound. Great broadcast mic without a lot of processing. Highly recommend.

Very good microphone for spoken word. I have EV RE20 and an SM7B but this is better sounding for spoken word in my opinion. I think it is the most similar in sound to a condenser microphone of any dynamic that I've heard. Very impressive quality and sound!

Great broadcast mic. Great sound, solid build and good looking. We liked it so much we bought a second. The more we expand, the more of these we'll end up getting.

very nice sounding mic. One of my favorites. Pop guard highly recommended for vocal use, particularly because of the close proximity that this mic is often used for. No phantom!!!

This is my first real Broadcasting Mic and I want to buy 3 more. They are great and require no phantom power. It works great for my podcast but I think it really delivers professional sound.
