I'm setting up a home recording studio for voice, perhaps vocal singing, plus MIDI. This solid unit is working well with my Mac Mini and vintage 1990s Yamaha MIDI keyboard. Headphone listening is easily adjusted. I use this interface with the Mac for listening on Spotify or iTunes or YouTube as well as the recording rig. USB supplies power - no extra power cords needed.

Using with keyboards and MacBook Pro. Plug-and-Go! Solid build quality, clean sound, easy to use with a little experimentation re. levels. Lots of online help if you need it. Having done some research re. audio interfaces I am very glad that I opted for this one. Wish I had bought it years ago!

If you're a hobby recording musician like the overwhleming majority of us, this is a 'hard to go wrong' first choice. It's got enough features, functions well, and the preamps are decent enough to get you recording, mixing, and sharing your music. Eventually you might want to upgrade when the wallet allows, but 6 years later I'm still using a Focusrite. Great product for the price. Recommended.

The focusrite 2i4 is easy to use. I bought mine used. No firmware downloads required. Plug and play experience has been great. Great for cueing as a DJ.

It was ironic that the 3rd generation model was released literally the day after I bought the 2nd generation, but I don't regret it at all. It has every feature I could ever want, and I am enjoying using it. Very simple to set up and operate.

I am an inexperienced user but the 2i4 is easy to use and setup. The included downloadable software is more than worth the price of the box. Sounds good and easy yo use so far. Also works as a sound card for you PC and sounds better than the built in sound card in your PC.

This little baby works brilliantly. I use it primarily as an audio out and went for the 2i4 as I can still connect my Roland SPD-SX via midi using Ableton drum racks and as a Midi controller. It works fantastically, audio quality is stunning and low signal latency is perfect for my application.

Everything about it is very transparent and simple and easy to use. It might as well be Apple branded. The 4 outs are handier than I'd anticipated for doing overdubs with headphone mixes and control room routing for my office setup.

This replaced an out-dated Mackie mixer on my edit desk. Moving to a new edit rig, I lost the analog connections and needed a USB solution for listening to edits. This has worked perfectly!

Simple, easy to use, great sound quality, and helpful documentation. Has all the inputs and outputs I need to record vocals and guitar at once. The midi in/out is probably the most useful feature over the 2i2.

I use this product to record some instrumental music and it does make a good sound for all the recording so far and also reasonable in price.

Great buy, great store. Salesman knew exactly what to recommend when I told him what my need was. Even though I'm not using it for recording, when I explained what I needed he recommended it and explained how to set it up for what I'm doing. Still use it today and it's perfect. Nice one!

Just hooked this up to my new JBL LSR308's and the sound is incredible. This makes it easy to control my audio - mike input, guitar input, etc. Works perfect with Ableton 9. Quality construction throughout.

I have been using a FocusRite Solo for a couple of years, this FocusRite 2i4 was purchased to setup a new editing station and it works great. These are very solid construction and built to last. Very easy to setup and use.

I had some trouble with my Push and this playing nice, but this is a great product so far. I will update if I have any issues. I am using this with 2 JBL LSR2328P monitors and Ableton with a Push and Jamox Xbass09.

Le produit reçu me satisfait complètement, par contre concernant le site vendeur je regrette leur manque et absence de communication (pas d'information sur la livraison, ne répond pas au mail, etc...), c'est dommage ! Michel SIMON

True plug and play device - ought to come with an Apple logo on it. Sounds great and solved some latency and compatibility issues I was having with other interfaces.
