Saw a review on this online and it is a really great mic. Decided on it over the rhode mic. All I need now is a good windscreen.

After using the Rode VideoMic Pro at work, and now owning the Deity, I have to say that there isn't really a difference to me. I mean there is one, this is cheaper. The end.

Can adjust mic to match volumes of other mics. Nice filters. Charging is fast. This is my second Deity mic. I also have the regular D3. Highly recommend both. Great sound. No complaints.

this is a great piece of gear with a great value compared to the competition. having the xlr adapter and boom arm is perfect for adapting to a better xlr system over time.

Great mic. I love it turns off power itself to save battery when the camera is off. And it turns on automatically when camera is on. And sound is great.

Works well as mic, but foam cover is useless when outside with windy conditions. Need to add a furry cover. The plastic mount is also very flimsy - for the price would have preferred sturdier metal .
