I won't claim to be an audiophile, or have extensive experience using audio gear in a multitude of different scenarios. What I can say is I done a ton or research before buying and found no real reason not to buy this kit, or the brand. It seems to be a knock off Sony, and mind you, it might not be identical to the Sony, I would not be surprised if its made in the same factory as them and being sold as knock off brand of the mostly the same thing as the Sony. A 'less' model if you will. So in my tests, and in use, I have not found any problems, it works. For the price, you get a case and basically everything you need. If your semi pro, just getting into the wireless audio, I would strongly recommend this product. If your a major productions company with a big budget, then why not just get the Sony and be sure? Otherwise, very happy with it so far! ... More

Full disclosure, I haven't used these wireless devices on a 'job' yet. However, I did test them and I was surprised by the results. The audio is clear and the range was quite good. Even when the subject was out of the line of sight (in different rooms etc ). The real surprise was the build quality. The housings are metal! We're so used to plastic that anything that isn't made out of it is shocking. The display is very easy to read and I really like the battery compartment. It sounds like a little thing, but when you're knee deep in the stress of a wedding and you need to change batteries, it's the little things that matter. There's a kind of 'pinch' mechanism that allows for quick access to the battery compartment and it locks back in place when the new batteries are installed. Overall, I'd have to say that I'm very impressed with this product. Hopefully, I'll remain this impressed when I actually put them in service. ... More

I almost never write reviews, but this lav kit deserves one. I'm a commercial/ecomm/biz dp that does a ton of direct to camera stuff with clients and talent. I wanted a more lightweight option for location shoots, or if a client decided on set that they want two people on camera. This is a really nice solution there. As a guy that literally wears out gear, durability is something I look for right off the bat. These bodies are full aluminum and come in a really nice Pelican-like case. I've used this setup on 4 very different shoots the past couple weeks, with absolutely zero dropouts or weirdness of any kind. Inside, outside, and even in a super congested outdoor location. Not one drop. There's options out there with internal batteries...in a professional environment those are not as good as models like this that take replaceable batteries. If you're on set and one goes dead, I'd rather have the option of popping in fresh batts - as opposed to plugging it into a battery brick or charger for a few hours. Anyways, I've used a handful of other lav systems and felt very lukewarm about them. This set has every feature I was looking for, yet simple enough to pick up and be rolling in minutes the first time. Really a great bargain for a two transmitter kit. Highly recommend! ... More

I bought this for some conference work and for an Amazon doc series. All the pro audio guys I work with said I should go with sennheiser and I did want to. But since my doc is self-funded I didn't want to spend the money if I could avoid it. I took a chance on this Comica set and I'm pretty happy with it. I will say at first I was having dropout issues. Just intermittent, but still it was frustrating. What I started doing is autoscanning each environment twice. I disgregard the first result and then scan again. Since I started doing this I've never had the audio dropout. I hope this tip can be helpful for others. ... More

If you just need something to just get by, these can work. For those that need reliability and quality, DO NOT get this. You must have a direct line of sight from transmitter to receiver to even think about getting what you need. Also, the plastic cold shoot mount broke in the middle of recording... very professional looking. I'm now having the company I work for to purchase something a little more expensive that is higher quality. They wanted these because they were cheaper. In the end, this product will lose you money, not save it. Don't be cheap if you need the reliability on a shoot. This will more than likely disappoint. ... More

I do a fair amount of video shoots. Last year I produced 70 videos, but I will admit that I have only been doing video work part time for a few years before going gangbusters last year, so keep that in mind. With that being said, I have used products from various manufacturers like Sony, Rhode, Sennheiser, etc. and the sound out of these has been great and the price was right. I usually use my boom mic for sets but when I need to get client testimonials I use this set along with a single light and I have never had a problem. The video game is expensive. Over the last few years I have spent around $40k but these were a great find. ... More

I bought this as an upgrade from a dual transmitter Azden that I had used for many years. The microphones sound great and I use them in very noisy places and it cuts out the background noise very well. I also like the autoscan and syncing feature that allows me to find the best channels for the location I am shooting at and quickly sync the two receivers to the transmitter. I am considering buying a second one and replacing the Azden altogether.

I saw the great reviews and decided to take a chance. I've had an awful experience with these. The sound constantly cuts out, even while 1 foot apart from the receiver and transmitter. If an arm moves in between them it cuts out. I may have gotten a faulty kit, but money is on the line. I can't play roulette with my work. I'm returning these immediately. Please choose a more reliable company if your livelihood depends on it.

Had them less than 2 months and audio drops and has squeaky feedback. Now they just don't work at all. I wish I could give them -5 stars.

My first venture into wireless mics, so I expected there to be a steeper learning curve, but this is easy to use, has great range and the equipment doesnt feel cheap or fragile. Very happy with the improved audio quality that Im now getting with this product.
