There are a variety of tones, but most have little variability. The gain and volume, when you roll the guitar volume back, doesn't clean up than a real amp. It mostly just decreases the volume of the breakup, but it still sounds like the same amount of gain. The effects are many, but again, it's hard to get a subtle effect. Maybe I like my effects softer than most, but I end up playing this dry most of the time. For that, though, I like it very much. The effect of playing with a track is much more enjoyable than other headphone amps, and compared to those sounds, this is far, far superior. ... More

These headphones are great for practicing guitar wireless, without significant latency. They are easy to use and it is easy to sync with backing tracks from mobile devices or a computer. Perhaps the only significant drawback is the cost, as these are not cheap. It would also be nice if they provided some way of recording by syncing with a computer, for example , but they don't.

Good product. I really enjoy all the effects it allows. I would like them more if I was able to bluetooth downloaded music and be able to hear myself play at the same time. They are still new to me and maybe I just don't know how to do that function. The manual does not mention it. Even so, they are the best headphone amplifier out. I would buy them again.

This is my 4th small headphone amp. I have a landlord with small children living above me and rarely get to crank up the Marshall. This is by far the most versatile and fun system I've come across. I love the audio quality and the ability to dial in different tones. There's easily over a grand in stomp pedals built into this thing as well. I feel like it's more than worth it's price. The Bluetooth works great and after only a little bit of learning on the app, I was up to speed. There's great resources on YouTube too.

This is perfect for me. I live in a condo and, plugging into my Fender Hotrod Deville is impossible. I put these on and jam. I haven't figured everything out yet but, just being able to put these on and jam is great. The app for these is free. I've read the instructions. I also watch some YouTube to learn how to use these. I love that they are wireless too. I can jam anytime and, not bother anybody or have to plug in.

Just an older average player with limited time to play through my amp and using standard headphones wasn't cutting it . The waza wireless headphones filled the void with great amp and effects sounds plus many options plus a good sounding Bluetooth wireless headphone by itself .

I noticed that some people had a hard time with dropped Bluetooth connections. I am using it with an older Apple tablet and have not had any problems. You do need to keep them charged up. I tend to always use it with that tablet to access the library of preset sounds that so far are enough to keep me happy (about 25?) without having to customize them. Besides the quality of the sound the wireless aspect is a big improvement over the less expensive Vox wired headphone amp I was using.

The hype is real. The YouTube reactions are for real. I had a huge smile across my face the moment I plugged into this and powered on. This is the perfect solution for at home practice when you can’t crank an amp. The sound is impeccable. Great tones and the headphones are pretty comfortable to me as well. Great quality product.

It's a little pricey but if you can put your hands on the money-its the ultimate personal amplifier. I am a classical violinist who moved into a very strict apartment coop. I needed a way to practice with a lot les volume. Combination of electric violin and Waza headphones. Not perfect but does the job without getting caught on wires. Also enjoyable sound that only you hear.-love this product

I'm super happy with this, easy to use for a beginner without even using the app. Bluetooth so you can use them like regular headphones. Lots of goodies on the app for tech heads. Comfortable. Portable. Oh yeah, and they sound fantastic! I got mine from Chicago Music Exchange and had them in just a couple days. LOOK NO FURTHER....

I thought these would be nice for night time practicing. I read to poor reviews they were getting about the Bluetooth not working. But I figured that was people who couldn't follow directions or problem solve. I was wrong. They absolutely won't connect to play music from an iPad or iPhone. They SAY they are connected. But they aren't. You can hear your guitar through them. Sound quality there is OK, not great. But to play along with music you have to play the music through separate speakers. Which sort of defeats the whole purpose.

These headphones have made practice fun for me. With a regular amp I'm always worried that others can hear how terrible I am, with these headphones I'm a rock god.

These changed the game for me. I've collected guitars for years, but never played because the sound of someone learning sucks for everyone else around. These headphones solve that problem, and sound amazing. Add the Boss Waza Air App and BOOM - I finally started lessons in earnest
