I have owned a pair of Bose Soundsport headphones without a microphone for several years and have been delighted with their clean sound, durability, perfect fit for my small ear canals (they come with earpieces in several sizes), and how they stay snugly in my ears, even while running or cycling. When I started to telecommute from home, I needed headphones with a microphone for Skype calls. The SoundSports with a mic were priced the same as the original pair without the mic several years earlier. There was no need to shop around, so I snapped up a pair, and have been happy with them, too. The two pairs are used interchangeably, except for when a mic is needed, and will probably last for many years. ... More

I got another pair of the exact headphones because the batteries on my old ones will not charge anymore after 3 years of constant use. I am going to send in my old pair to replace the batteries. I love the excellent sound quality and have never had any issues with the Bluetooth disconnecting when watching movies on my Ipad or listening to music on my phone. Receiving phone calls in a noisy environment is also a plus since I can hear everything perfectly and the other party can hear me. I have tested out the battery life and have been able to get 6 hours and 39 minutes of use even though the specs say 6 hours. I would say the only drawback is that you can't charge it wirelessly. It uses a micro USB cable which is supplied with it but no actual charger. ... More

I purchased these buds with the expectation of use while running. The fit is amazing, sound is quite good but not 2 weeks into use, there was a hissing sound emanating from the left earbud and the remote/mic stopped working. I easily exchanged for a second pair and had the same issue not even 3 weeks after purchase. Again, exchange was easy. The third pair didn't last 3 days! I contacted Bose directly and they claim it is not a common problem. After my doing research, the short is quite common.

I'm an audiophile that took up running over the last year. I love music, and I can't run without it. I used my Shure IEMs at first, which were great for runs but sweat eventually got to the drivers, causing them to die. In my search for new earphones, I found it a challenge to navigate the options for fitness-friendly earphones. I'm not a huge fan of Bose sound; I think they are generally overpriced for what you get. That being said, I bought these after going through a lot of reviews, and I'm very happy with them. They have a nice, fairly balanced sound, and they stay in my ear (which is a problem for me and other earphones). I think these are great, and I would definitely buy them again. ... More

I bought these since I'm always happy with BOSE products and their quality, especially the fact that they last a lifetime. After 6 months of use, the plastics started to unglue, by the 8-month mark they simply stopped working. I treated these buds with a lot of care, maybe I had bad luck? I don't think so since my friend who bought his after I did, even experienced a faster expiration date, he even went further and got the sound sports free model, and as you may guess also died before the 10-month mark. These headphones were great for a very short period of time, note that I used these mainly for running, 2-3 times a week, charging them every other week, pretty light use in my opinion. ... More

I use these headphones (earbuds) for running - and for short and long runs (over 20 miles). They are very comfortable and let in enough ambient sound so that I can hear cars and traffic (important when running in the city). With the headphones in and music off it is easy to chat with a running partner. The new volume control is a nice improvement over the last version and the inline switch allows me to pause music or switch to the next track. Overall a very good product.

I use these headphones while at work and while working out. This requires me to be constantly moving bending, etc. These earphones to NOT move one you have them in place. Even better than that, you get the true Bose sound, which is completely worth it!!

I tried a few BT ear but type headphones. I used the nose soubdsport, beats X, the v-moda and the JBL. I use only wingtip buds because the traditional iPod style doesn't stay in at all. Bose sounded the best but fell out the most- especially when running. Also the cord is very sticky and would grab my neck and pull buds out. I think it should be an inch longer. The jbl were next best in sound and stayed in way better. They have a reflective chord that helps in finding it in my bag a lot. The beats and forza sound very similar but the beats stay in very well. Forza, is very light and doesn't seem to gain leverage with sI grips as the rest do. ... More

I've used BOSE previous earphone model for 4 years and bought this new one after cable got damaged. One for 4 years usage (everyday in school and gym) means this one has good durability. And, BOSE always delivers reliable quality. Specifically, I like using this in the gym more than my previous one since this one is sweat proof. I am satisfied with this product so far. Last one I like is that there is an extra extension cord included.

I have and still love my wired sound sport ear buds but I needed to get a wireless to make my workouts a little easier. Sound quality is great and battery life is not bad. I can get at least three 2-3 hour sessions at the gym in. These also charge fairly quick, which is a huge plus.

I've bought 2 pairs this year. the first pair began open up everywhere after 3 months , from the button on the right earbuds, both rubber seals on both ear buds, to the mic that is made and sealed with rubber. but I liked the sound and bought another pair. Now 3 months later I'm noticing the seals opening up even though I tried my best to take care of them. if water goes in I'm sure they will break. these will be my last pair. I will buy another brand or get the wired Bose version. great sound, battery life and fit. but poor poor build quality and definitely not sport!! ... More

I tried a few different Bluetooth, in-ear phones, some of which were a bit cheaper than this one, but the SoundSport is perfect for my purposes. I wanted a decent sounding pair of earphones for my daily walks on streets that have some traffic, so I wanted to have plenty of noise reduction, but not 100% noise cancellation. These earphones fit perfectly, and won't fall off even when you run. The sound is great, with the slight bass boost that is expected from Bose, and the BT connection works flawlessly. Easy to operate, easy fit, easy on the ears!

So far so good! I've had the headphones for a little over a week and use them on average twice per day. There has been plenty of battery life to go at least two days between charges and could probably squeeze out a third day without a problem. Hopefully the wireless blue tooth version holds up better than my old wire Bose SoundSport where all of the insulation came off. They still worked but looked horrible. I'm thinking of dipping them in PlastiDip so maybe I can get some more use out of them as a backup if my batteries die in my new set. ... More

I had tried the PowerBeats2 Wireless Earbuds and was extremely disappointed, so I returned them and got these instead, and I am absolutely thrilled that I did. Ear buds are far more comfortable, sound is significantly louder and clearer, and overall build quality just seems better. You won't be upset if you get these, unless you are used to studio-quality over the ear, in which case any in-ear option won't be as good, including these.

I have been waiting for the new bose headphones for a while. The sound quality is what you would expect from Bose, it is crisp and beautiful. I was a little disappointed by how big they are in your ears though. While you can't feel how big they are, they look a little weird sticking out of your ears.

Excellent quality and they pair immediately with my iPhone. The ear buds block out all sound so they are annoying to use for phone call but the music sound quality is great. I have a pair of wired Bose sport headphones and swapped out the earbuds for less of a tight fit;better for phone call but music sound becomes tinny if the fit isn't airtight. That being said I use them almost all the time and would buy them again.

Love the sound quality. Pretty comfortable fit. I am petite and use the smallest size ear piece. High quality build which I would expect from Bose. Love the grey/citron color combo. For all this I give 5 Stars. If I could make one suggestion it would be to improve the attachment Between wire and collar clip: it doesn't take much to pull the wire from clip. Otherwise terrific and I'm glad I splurged on good quality.

First: Used only at my desk and the rubber housing and the on-off button fell apart. So, after a year, the unit simply lost functionality. Second: I tried one time to walk or run with these and the combination of the wire between the two units and the weight of them protruding out of your ear causes them to bounce and crackle in your ear! Unbearable. Third: About that protrusion thing... I know the folks on the other end of videochats really do wonder if those are earplugs in my ear or a couple of black doorknobs. :-) ... More

I bought these earphones mostly to use at the gym and am really disappointed with the max volume which is too low. They were unable to compete with the external gym noise and music. I then compared them with my basic Apple earphones that come with the iPhone as well as Apple's AirPods and both are significantly louder and sound better overall. The SoundSports sound good at home, but not worth the price. If you really want wireless ear buds for listening to music, and you don't care so much about using the headset to pause, forward songs, etc. go with the AirPods. ... More
