I must be missing something in that the reviews all seem to tout the superiority of the ANC system of these earbuds. I ordered a pair and found the ANC to be useless and I returned them after spending a half hour on-line with BOSE support without being able to resolve the problem. I assumed it to be a malfunctioning unit and opted for a replacement pair. Unfortunately, I find the replacement pair to be the same in regards to the ineffectiveness of the ANC feature. I vacillated in regards to giving this a 2 or 3 star rating, but decided on the latter for the following reasons: I currently have a pair of Jabra 65T which are two models old. The sound is okay and they serve their purpose of using them for dog walks, etc. I have a pair of Bose earphones and I love both the sound and the ANC and had great hopes that their state-of-the-art earbuds would at least approach the effectiveness of the earphones. Not only does it not approach that performance, the feature seemingly does not work. Although the mid-size tips that come attached felt very comfortable and secure, I swapped out to the largest pair hoping that perhaps that would solve the problem. I do like the sound of these units, but alas, they failed to accomplish my intended mission - a pair of earbuds that also has effective ANC. ... More

It's been now 5 months with these, and I really love their sound quality. I like the way I can spend about a whole week without charging the case again, also since sometimes I work in noisy places, they really serve me well. Sometimes I look back and thank myself for buying them. They fell down on the roar a few times, and got some non-noticeable scratches tho. I feel bad that they got scratched a bit this early. I can highly recommend them to someone who wants Noise-canceling earpieces. One more thing that I like is the way you can easily switch from noise canceling mode to the AWARE MODE by simply double taping the left earpiece. One thing that I wish they had is GPS/Bluetooth tracking option. ... More

The sound quality is amazing. Noise canceling works well, and I can hear my surrounding environment clearly through the earbuds when noise canceling is turned off. The ability to hear the surrounding environment is a huge step-up from the galaxy buds these replaced. The sound is natural unlike galaxy's, that made voices sound like they were coming from a cheap radio speaker. The only negatives are that the left earbud gets its signal from the right. So, it is possible to put the left earbud in the charging case and just use the right. But, if I just want to use the left earbud while recharging the right, I have to leave the case open (not really a big deal). The other small issue is that they protrude about half and inch from the ear which makes it a bit weird looking to walk around with. Also, not a big deal to me but if you are concerned about aesthetics it might be worth mentioning. ... More

You can only connect to one device at a time. I have the bose over ear headphones and you can connect to two devices at a time. I would have liked to see at least two devices, even better three devices. I could not find this info on the specs either, which I do not like that I was not warned; this could also be my lack of investigating, too. Used for one day. I like them so far. They have not made my ears sore. They are a bit tricky to fit the 'little flap' part tucked in your ear - takes some getting used to. They are definitely bigger than air pods, and, therefore, more noticeable. If you have long hair, the hair easily covers them, though. I would take Bose quality over airpods any day though. ... More

Loved these headphones. It was time for me to upgrade from my Sony headphones and older bose noise cancellations, very very satisfied with the sound, the noise cancellation, and the fit. Some may comment on the size of the case, I got used to the case and seems the case is well built. I use these primarily when exercising outdoors and the sound/noise cancellation is awesome. It's the point where I can hear my own breath and heart beat while exercising. Highly recommended purchase, plus, BH buying experience for me has consistently been excellent!

Bose customer since 2008. First tie returning a product because I am shocked how this was released. The volume adjustments are not very responsive. Can only "next track" from left ear and can NOT go back to previous track. Auto detection is VERY faulty. Barely goes to sleep as it reconnects randomly, especially if left in pockets. This is not a handsfree device. Returned and re-purchased my old soundsport free. If aint broke, dont fix it.

Noise suppression is outstanding. Exactly what you would expect from Bose. I worry about them falling out of my ears while out walking. My ears seem to be between the sizes of the supplied ear pieces.

These in-ear headphones do a great job of cancelling out the ambient sound and the music sounds great. They fit quite well in my ears as well.

These replaced the wireless headphones with wires connecting the right a left. Much more useful. Can not plug into airplane sound systems - for that you need a wired head phone.
