I chose these over the Bose 700 headphones which I compared with the QC35ii at a local big box electronics/appliance store. Although the 700 seemed better overall (noise reduction and audio quality), I couldn't justify the extra cost. Well, now that I have the QC35ii, I really love them! The sound quality is nowhere near as good as my wired Sennheiser and HD600 Benchmark DAC combination but very satisfying for the purpose of being able to walk around the house and listen to music from my iphone and iMac. Because the earpads have to seal well around the ears for noise reduction, they do get a little sweaty after an hour or two. I have to let them air dry which recharging before putting them back in the case. The bluetooth distance cuts out if I get more than about 20 feet from my computer, but that's ok for me. ... More

I have edit suites that are my responsibility to maintain. The suites are far from being noise isolated. With air conditioner noise and Air handlers on the other side of the wall, mixing audio can become guesswork. This is the second pair of these I have purchased for our editors. The experience is surreal when they are turned on. It sucks all the noise of the room so that you are left with the audio in our sequences. A perfect way to isolate an edit to make it precise. Helps maintain focus and doesnt squeeze your ears after prolonged use. A great investment for the happiness of our creative people. ... More

I owned a pair of Bose QC 15 headphones previously. They were powered with a single AAA battery. The battery leaked and corroded the wire to the circuit board. Bose would not fix them. The online service that said they would fix them ripped me off. Bad design that something that expensive could not be repaired by the manufacturer! I was REALLY UPSET! So two years later I decided to take a chance and buy these. They have built-in rechargable batteries, and bluetooth. One thing I wanted was a wired connection in addition to the bluetooth, so that I could plug these into my old iPods. THEY COME WITH A WIRED CONNECTION! Perfect. They are great performers, excellent sound reproduction, and the noise cancelling is first rate! I am glad I took a chance on another set of noise cancelling headphones from Bose. I still hate Bose, though, for not having a repair capability for the QC 15's. ... More

Product has good quality but not excellent and no way to adjust it within itself. They are very good quality and feel very comfortable on. The tactile switches are good and better than touch sensitive versions where you're never sure if it's worked. Biggest issue is the bluetooth connection. Although his is easy to do, it feels very weak and loses the connection even when just moving your head about, let alone walking around. I can't recommend these based on this problem.

Ok I bought these for doing Lawn Care. I have a Zero turn mower and it was to much noise for these headphones to handle. They start making static noise at the decibel level my big mower puts out. I've tried two pairs and they both did the same thing. They are fine with just a regular mower but they can't handle the big mower. I also have used these at the gym and they just don't fit the head snug enough to stay in place unless you are just standing upright and never bending over or laying down. I will probably keep these for just walking or lounging around. I use the bose soundsports for the gym and also for mowing. For mowing I just put some cheap safety over the ear muffs to keep the noise out. The quietcomforts sound good and I like the battery life plus the google feature. ... More

I wore these headphones on a 12 hour flight and had no problems with comfort. The sound quality is perfectly adequate, and the system is fairly easy to operate. One small annoyance is that the system announces that it can't find the source, for every source. It would seem simpler to say "no sources found". Also the buttons are a bit difficult to find with your fingers until you get used to where they are. None of these issues would discourage me from buying the headphones.

These are amazing headphones super comfortable with amazing noise cancelling very noticeable when commuting on the tube or on an airplane. They cut out a huge amount of background noise. The sound quality is amazing, I’ve had plenty of headphones but decided I needed a decent pair since I use them daily these where worth the money. The only down side is the 3.5mm audio cable is a little on the shorter side which is a pain when using them on a plane.

These headphones do just about everything, but best of all-- They just work. 1) Sound great 2) Noise Cancellation very good 3) Controls convenient 4) Great Battery Life 5) Easy to connect. Work well enough that I bought 4 sets for Christmas presents. Only real issue is when running equipment with a lot of vibration they can sometimes buzz (Bobcat), but that's if you are driving with chains on ice or something. For most other equipment and scenarios, they are truly great. Talking on the phone is very cool as it dampens exterior sounds. Sounds like the other person is in your ear. You won't be sorry. ... Purchased the Bose QuietComfort 35 Series II mainly for plane traveling. I used them for the first time on a recent trip to London and they were fantastic. On the return flight, there was a crying baby in the row in front of me and another a row up and to the right. With the headphones on, I could only hear a faint, distant crying. When I plugged in some music, I could not hear so much as a whimper. The headphones also nullified the droning sound of the engines (I was in the back of the plane on both flights). I will never get on a plane again without these headphones. Highly recommended, especially if you fly often, and the limited triple midnight blue color scheme was an added bonus as they look sharp! ... More

I love my music and took a leap at buying these. I have had BOSE speakers in the past and could not fault the performance so splashed out on a pair of these. We all know BOSE are not cheap but you get what you pay for, and the sound quality is fantastic and coupled with the exceptional noise cancellation, there is no better way to cut out the rest of the world and sing your heart out. As a Bose lover, I decided to order these and use them on a recent flight. During the flight I used the noise cancelling feature only (no music) on high and could still hear the small child in the row behind me humming for over 2 hours, babies crying and various other noises and announcements. I love that they are comfortable and when music is played it sounds awesome but if you think that these will block out all or most of the noise then you might want to look elsewhere. Bottom line; I would say outside noise is reduced and muffled but the noises I wanted to prevent hearing still prevailed. ... More

As a person with hearing difficulties, having these noise cancelling ear phones is a joy. Linked to my tablet whilst watching a film on the rush hour commute to London allowed me to forget I was on a train. I have a large head and these are very light and comfy. Looking forward to seeing how well they do on a long flight. Sound quality is superb.

Impressive sound quality and very comfortable to wear. The noise reduction system allows you to listen at quite low volume levels without loss of any fine detail: a rich deep base sound along with sparkling treble. I can now enjoy listening for lengthy periods without any feeling of fatigue. Connections via bluetooth are made very speedy and straightforward when using the Bose App. An excellent product, well made, and highly recommendable.

Seen several sports personalities use this model and seen them promoting them with sceptical regarding the noise cancellation feature and to my surprise it worked amazing got the bus and sat at the back where the engine is most loud and could only hear the deep rumble more from the vibration rather than the noise only downside is if vibration is too much the sound does get a bit disoriented but nothing to complain about really

I have huge ears. These ears are like platforms, the kinds of runways that air craft fighter pilots would be jealous to land on. The Bose QC35 II's are the first over-ear headphones that have ever really fit me, and they sound good too. I comfortably wear them in my office pretty much all day now, and they also nicely prevent folks from running away screaming from seeing my freakishly large ears. The noise cancellation is incredibly good; superior to a couple of other brands I've tried (in-ear and on-ear). Simple to connect to my iPhone with a great app. Once set up they connect automatically and almost immediately. Battery life is great, and Bluetooth disconnects automatically if you plug in the audio cable (while watching in-flight entertainment, for example) which saves battery. The carry case is very smart and practical. I really can't flaw them!

I bought these headphones for two reasons: noise cancellation and comfort. I use them during my commute and they do an unbelievably incredible job at cutting out the noise. They are comfortable even when wearing for an extended period of time. I have had very few issues with Bluetooth connectivity, especially compared to other wireless headphones I have used in the past. The case they come with is nice, and the audio cable is a good length. The battery life is also excellent.
