I have 2 Shure SM 57s and wanted a cheap alternative as an instrument and back-up mic. I tested this mic against a Shure SM 57 on a Focusrite 2I2, on vocals, recording in Audacity. Both mics sound clear and there is little obvious difference in voice quality. The Pro 62 seems to have slightly less side rejection (a looser cardioid pattern). I might even prefer the Pro 63 over the SM 57 as it seemed to be just a bit crisper to me. The Pro 63 seems much sturdier around the wind screen. I will probably order more.

Wasn't sure about this with the price as low as it was. In the end, very happy with it. Sound quality is good. I use it for video interviews - man on the street kind of stuff. Would recommend and would buy again

The feel of this microphone spells quality. I wished it would come in different colors because I would have to have them all.

I like these mics. I am not a professional. I use these to mic my amps for personal home recording and I am very pleased for what I use them for. Currently, I have two and am planning for one more. I use them for both acoustic and electric amps.

I have many mics, some very expensive. This mic is kind of like the sm58 its performance and quality to vocals is exceptional. Also the size and shape is very comfortable when holding without mic stand. Best way to describe this mic, inexpensive that performs like a very expensive mic!!! 5 stars

I would have given this mike 5 stars but because it does not have any way to turn it off, reduces my stars. This is the first Mike that we have ever seen with no way to turn it off, except to unplug it.
