I do interviews and podcasting. I am very fussy about audio quality. It is very convenient to have the mic on the headset. My larger broadcast mics seem to always be in my field of view of copy or computer monitor. The quality is great and your distance from the mic never changes, ensuring constant levals.

Love these headsets. We bought two at the start of football season for our broadcast team and they were awesome! Great sound reproduction and the long headset cables were wonderful. No need to link an extension to allow talent to move around in the booth. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a great sounding headset. Personally I love the full ear headset, but that is also the only negative I have heard all football and basketball season. The full ear headset was too hot in August and September... We bought ear covers and solved that issue.

I'm using this for video conferencing. It's a big step up in audio quality (both mic and phones) over USB headsets I've tried. Of course you need a USB converter too. Strong spring pushing the phones against your ears, but I expect that will relax over time. While not noise-canceling, the full over-ear phones do a very good job blocking sound. So much so that your USB converter had better provide sidetone or you won't hear yourself.

I have been using these broadcast headphones and microphone for about 3 years now. It has the male XLR output that plugs into the mixer and the headphones would as well. Such great audio quality, I can hear the audio levels , and overall the best headphones I have seen. We use them for our sports podcast, play by play and it's easy to plug in and use. We have used them a ton and they continue do work great. Might purchase another one for our podcast soon. Great product!

I do instructional video for music workstations and software. Over the years I've tried to make do with PC headsets, but when you start doing mulitrack recording you can't get a stereo mic mini jack to work with 1/4 inputs on a mixer. After days of searching this is the only solution in the @ range. It works great, comfortable, great mic modulation for isolating your voice when you're not wanting to pick up desk noise or noise in the room.

This headset is comfortable although I did buy another set of padding for extra comfort. The sound quality is great. The microphone quality is great and it does a great job at cutting out background noise.

Excellent audio both headphone and mike. Only one thing bothers me is the connector, I keep rubbing my shoulder on it. They should have brought it out at a different angle or shortened the plug. Otherwise it is an excellent headset.

My hockey team purchased this item to allow our Commentators to have a Professional Appearance when calling our games which are streamed live on the internet. I am receiving rave reviews from our fans on the quality of the video and audio. My Commentators tried lapel mics...no good. This headset is outstanding and they LOVE it.

I bought these to use with a Rodecaster Pro, which is definitely a handy combination. In the end, I opted for a different headset and separate microphone that offer more comfort and better sound respectively.

Perfect! Exactly as expected. I own lots of Audio Technica equipment and have nothing but praise for it all. I use it mainly for Zoom, interfaced to my MacBook Pro with a Scarlett 2i2 USB.

I have only had for a month or so; use them for everything from ZOOM calls to JamKazam on-line music-making (jamming) ... they have a feel of quality and ruggedness beyond alot of consumer-grade headsets. I have not used them 'hard' but they seem rugged. Only thing I wish they had was auto-mute when you move the mic up and out of the way.

my broadcasters love them and said they are the best headphones that they have ever used. in fact they want me to replace the old set. they actually try and beat each other to the rink to get them before the other one does. will consider it if they are good boys.

This has to be the best headset we've ever bought. We use them for onsite reporting in live broadcasts. They look great, and they sound great; audio in both directions is very clear. We will be buying more of these soon.

Was hoping to use this as part of a sound booth for recording voiceover -- we found that there was very strange feedback vibrations when both the headset and headphones were hooked up, even when the monitor channel was closed. Both components worked brilliantly on their own but not together.
