Great Headphones!

I already have a pair of traditional wired ATH-M50X but decided to treat myself to the bluetooth version. They are basically the same headphone I already have, but without a cord. They do come with a cord, but it is quite short and isn't coiled. They come with a USB charging cord that is VERY short at about 14 inches. I find this a little too short, but it gets the job done. The instructions were a little TOO simple and consisted of just images and very little text. It was enough to get me started, but there was no information for any sort of troubleshooting. As this is my first bluetooth device, a little more information would have been helpful. The problem I had was once I connected with the transmitter that connects to my 'legacy' equipment, that was the sole device the headphone wanted to connect to. It took a little fiddling around to figure out how to get the headphone to connect to my laptop and cell phone. It would have been nice to have troubleshooting instructions. All that being said, the headphones sound as great as the wired version. I haven't had any problems with interference or a dropped signal. My house isn't very big so I can't really get out of range without going outside which I haven't tried yet to see how far the signal reaches. Great Headphones!! ... More

I use these on my android phone wirelessly (bluetooth) and with my linux computer wired directly through the motherboard line out for pc games, youtube, music, and disneyplus. I also use them wired into a surface go reformatted with ubuntu 22.04. Got them to work with bluetooth with the linux desktop computer but I don't actually have the SMA antennae attached to it so it is not really a fair test. (it is laggy, but it did connect and produce sound) They work great anywhere they are wired and wirelessly on android with wired connections sounding better. I don't really use windows often so can't comment on that at this time. I'm not an audiophile, but the audio sounds crisp with nice bass when watching movies with special effects. Music also sounds crisp and precise. They do fit fairly snugly but feel comfortable on the ears and are well made. I previously owned a pair of klipsch reference but these seem slightly better built. I've used ATH-M50's in the past, and I've always liked their crisp performance and balanced sound, so I was eager to try out their Bluetooth model when it became available. The sound quality is once again fantastic for the price point, and the construction quality and comfort are well-worth the price. The only criticisms I have are with Bluetooth functionality; it seems to me that the audio is noticeably compressed when listening wireless. This is definitely a limitation of Bluetooth as a standard , but it nevertheless is an issue when forced to listen wireless. Great headphones, love the flexibility. I've bought a 10' 3.5 cord and it works perfect wired, it's not as thick a cable as the wired version. Bluetooth sounds great, out of the box sound is neutral and clean. The Android app has EQ you can customize, but I found it dampened the sound so I've left it off, also I like that the headphones sound the same wired as on Bluetooth. I wasn't interested in noise cancelling, as audio quality was most important to me. This will be my studio and critical listening headphones.

I bought these headphones a few years ago (The left ear Broke off) I took a chance to buy the upgrade and it doesn't come with an adapter to plug in for a quarter inch. I tried many others that I have laying in my studio-NONE of them fit. I literally can't listen to music out of the box because of this. Unbelievable. The cord is so short I guarantee that you will have to purchase a longer one. TOTALLY upset about this!!!!!!! What company has a cord less than 3 feet with no way to connect to 1/4 inch mixer etc. ? I'm a long time Audio-Texhnica fan, though this is my first venture into wireless headphones. Goodbye analogue worrld! But these make it more than okay. Super comfortable fit, lighter weight (for the style), easy to use and most importantly, great sound. Full, rich and clean in all ranges. Strong recommendation.

I do zoom calls all day. And then I edit video, podcasts, and make music. And I wear glasses. I needed a multifunctional headphone set that could do it all and be comfortable for long sessions. These are the ones. The Bluetooth allows me to walk away during calls and still contribute. The ability to plug in removes the Bluetooth lag for my music and editing. 10/10 would recommend.

I bought these after enjoying a pair of wired A-T headphones for several years. Those are comfortable enough to wear for several hours. These are tolerable for short periods of time but eventually they generate some serious pain. Too much pressure on the ears, not enough padding on the band, pretty heavy too. All the comfort of a good bench vise. And the control buttons are little fiddly things. Fortunately I don't use them much, but you might.

Paired with the iOS app, these headphones deserve their reputation. With support for high bitrate audio formats. Add on top of that with a 50hr battery life and you got a winner! The earpads do leave something to be desired, but that is easily fixed with one of many replacements available for just a few dollars. At the End of the day, these headphones are simply fantastic for clear and accurate audio.
