I'm saving this for a special occasion, and I don't regret buying them based on the reviews of the original. Audio-Technica has never let me down when it comes to great headphones, so I expect nothing less when I do finally open the box and put these amazing headphones to use. This Red/Gold limited edition finish is beautiful. So glad I got these while I had the chance. Thanks B&H!

Great product, but do not purchase if you might need customer service, because B&H Photo is lacking in this area severely.

I am very disappointed with the performance of these headphones. In my opinion they have been over hyped by the audio press. The bass is very artificial and over emphasized . The highs are weak but the mids which seem smooth and accurate are overwhelmed by the bass. I agree that they are not expensive and probably perform OK for their price, but I was led to believe they were exceptional for their price. They are not.

I prepared a review for this but B&H allowed me to post only half of it. So what you get is a headline and a star evaluation. Shame on you B&H for patronizing your reviewers and your review readers.

these sound OK, however, ergonomically these are the worst full size closed headphones I ever used! headphones costing 20% of the price of these fit better. Must be my head since these have apparently cult following... I could also not put them on with one hand(I only have one hand when recording sound on the set), they slide off, the headband is the worst ever, few days after I stopped using them my head still hurts from the headband. Same story with the ears...
