These things sound amazing...for the price you won't find any better. Nice lows and highs. Very comfy and well designed.

Got it for my husband based on the high reviews. He really likes it. He wanted the short cord that you can buy separately and that will be great for travel. Wish it was included.

Great high quality headphone. I got these two weeks ago and have used them almost every day. Love 'em!

Great sounding for home recording and monitoring, listening to music. Case would be nice instead of pouch.

These are clean and smooth. Nothing is better than these at the $ pricepoint. Could be a bit more comfortable, and would have liked a shorter straight cable.

I've tried all the ATH-M serie and I can't complain. Although the M30x is my favourite, the M40x still a good option if you want a more versatile and robust headphone.

These sound great, very flat. I had the M50's a while back and in some ways I actually like these better. I find them quite comfortable and light.

These headphones have great clarity and definition giving me the opportunity to hear/ feel the space between notes. The headband could be softer, but the sound is what I was looking for.

An employee at Guitar Center recommended Audio Technica after I explained I needed some headphones to go with my e-drums. At first, I was impressed with the sound. That said, I like to have the volume really high from my drums and the background song and it has only been a few weeks and I have already blew this headphones. Now the bass is very low and Its hard to hear the background song and hearing your own drum playing (especially the bass). I would not recommend this pair if you like to play loud.
