These headphones are superb for the price! I love how flat their profile is! listening to movies, T.V. shows, and youtube videos with these sound amazing. Once when I was watching a movie a door opened in the movie and I took my headphones off because I thought someone had come into the room, they sound that good!

Great sound, and well made headphones. The only issue I have had so far is the tightness. My ears ache a little after wearing for any extended period of time and I cant adjust the squeeze Hopefully over time the tension will reduce, but I am having a hard time wearing them for extended editing sessions.

I first purchased some AKG phones, but found them seriously flawed in comfort and noise from the cable. The ATH-M30x phones have equally good sound quality, but a much more comfortable, and the cord is superior. I also was happy to pay $10 less at B&H than other retailers were charging. A great value!

Bought these for my not-an-audiophile spouse. She says They're fine. She's kind of hard to please, so this is high praise.

I love these headphones. They're really comfortable and have been using them for nearly a year. I use them while editing videos, which can be a strain on my ears with most headphones until now. Quality is awesome and don't see any wear or tear after the use I've put them through says a lot. Can't beat the price for a compact and high quality headphone.

For the money, these are fantastic. The sound is true to the recording. If you are looking for lots of bass, these are not right for you. There is a bit of favor to midrange on these headphones but to truly appreciate the range of your music this will be appreciated

Great upgrade from a pair of Sony earbuds. Sounds quality is great for audio editing. The cord is really long, but this is actually proving to be pretty useful when I want to use it at a distance from my interface and PC.

... More

Needed a pair of solid headphone for an audio editing class. Didn't wanna spend too much and these are really doing the job well for a decent price. Really good sound and pretty comfy.

For a non-studio purpose, I needed decent yet not spendy headphones. All the ATH-M30's I've had have been perfect, and so I went with the M30x this time from B&H. Got an excellent deal on an open box pair and they showed up fast, everything was included, headphones work perfectly and are quite comfortable for 2-hr online music jams.

These headphones sound good. If you are not into bass heavy headphones and would like clarity of the midrange, with punchy bass then these are for you. Although designed for studio, these deliver in most audio applications.

The headphones are good and sound fine. They are more mid-pushed and less bassy than the lower priced model so keep that in mind. The cord is super long so you don't have to worry about that. They aren't noise canceling but keep most of the sound out which is good. The only I have is that they do get warm under the cups.

I use these monitor headphones when I practice our Rodgers digital organ at church, so i can practice in privacy and without disturbing others who are using the building at the same time. Excellent quality and wonderful sound!

I have been using these headphones primarily for field recording as well as some editing work; the sound quality is crisp and nuanced and I have overall been very pleased.

These are an excellent pair of monitoring (I even do some light mixing with them) headphones. I got an open box set that made the price point even more attractive. While pretty comfortable, I do still find ear fatigue becomes a problem after an hour or two at the desk. (But that just encourages you to stand up and take a walk, anyway.)

I'm a film student and decided to invest in a good pair of headphones for editing. These made a huge difference, and I was very impressed! Probably not the highest quality pair available, but they are perfect for what I need - and they're very sleek and stylish too, which was important to me!

I purchased 2 sets of these specifically for video editing and monitoring audio in the field. They are great quality and nice sound. Lack a little bass but overall great headphones at a great value.

This headphones are amazing for what i use them which is recording music. I dont reccomend them for on the go since they dont have detachable cables for that you should look at the next model, but for me and anybody starting university and studying sound engineering go for it.

Bought a second pair of these for on-camera monitoring. Sturdy enough to be moved around, good quality sound. comfortable enough to wear for long periods due to over ear design, plus blocks out a reasonable amount of background noise. These have a non-springy cable, which for my application is what I need and prefer. if you want a springy cable, Sony MDR7506 is a great equivalent to this.
