Picked these up to replace my five-year-old, well-worn M20s (I also have a pair of the newer M50x and ANC9). As I've come to expect from AT headphones, these offer good sound--noticeably improved from the older version--and solid construction for a lower SRP than other, more hyped brands. The reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is yes, the fit is a little too tight. I can wear my other AT 'phones all day in complete comfort, but I start noticing a slight pressure ache with these after about an hour.

As a person to whom specs are of little help, I needed headphones for listening to music and my playlists (which a mostly classical) on my pc. I already am happy with my Sennheiser phones for optimum listening, so I was looking for some less critical (and frankly) and cheaper phones. I was surprised by the powerful bass. Music and videos I listen to on YouTube sound great, and my own CDs sound good enough (I attribute that to the player). So this is a real bargain without too much of a compromise.

These are very tight, yet I can still wear them for several hours without discomfort. I have glasses and it is uncomfortable wearing them all the way pushed back so I either have them low on my face or, more often, resting on top. This does not bother me, but it's something to consider.

A positive upgrade from the cans I was previously using. Comfortable on the 👂's. Makes a world of difference in mixing my recordings. This was a smart purchase for the price and quality.

These phones are simply extraordinary! Just as fine as most cans at five times the price. Covid budget friendly! Made for just chilling en casa listening to your tunes, when you don't want the hassle of constantly replacing batteries! Do everyone a solid -- especially yourself -- get these and go to your own world for shows and games while your baby's nighty-night.

I bought these headphones because I suddenly was called upon to teach music and record music online due to the Covid19 epidemic. I think it's a great product at a reasonable cost and really sounds fantastic! I play and teach flute and shakuhachi but use it for spoken voice also and in all these realms it does an excellent job!

As the editor/producer of three podcasts, I spend a lot of time in headphones. I love these because even with glasses, they don't get painful over time. Great quality and comfort for a very reasonable price.

These headphones have great sound and are very well made. They're not small or super light, but not noticably bulky or heavy either. All in all, very pleased. The only concern might be how firmly they press against your ears. They're very comfortable and tight enough to stay on your head if you're moving around, which is good, but someone with a wide head might feel the pressure more than they like.

I bought 4 pairs of these for my studio and I'm very happy with them. They're a bit more mid focused than the 50's which feel more immersive and hifi, but for tracking a full band these have been excellent for the price! The detached cable is only a minor concern, I think storage is the key - hanging them instead of cramming them away might be the solution. I hope they hold up because they sound great!

I looked at a lot of affordable headphones (studio) and this is the only decent value I found. The frequency response is broad and relatively flat. Virtually every other budget set was heavy on the bass. Usually people complain about too short of a cable...this one is too long, and it gets caught in or on everything, but I'd rather have it longer and I'll organize the recording stuff better. They are pretty comfortable for an hour or more for me. Good value and I recommend them.

Bought these for my senior citizen mom (70's) for use with her macbook pro. She had trouble understanding spoken word sound and relied on subtitles to help in that regard but certain content did not have subtitles. With these headphones, she was amazed and thrilled that all of a sudden she could hear again! I doubt these are for true audiophiles but they get the job done quite nicely given the price. I'm very happy with the way she is very happy with them.

I was pleasantly surprised at the excellent sound quality from these relatively inexpensive headphones. As one who has high frequency hearing loss, the over-the-ear design fits around my hearing aids and allows me to enjoy a greater sound range than other headphones provide.

I bought this to record music and edit music. Since last year I been using other brands, but when I decide to buy this one and when I try it the music and the sounds through this headphone was just beautiful so bright and clean. It is an awesome product and I recommended for edit sound tracks or audios.

As a part-time home recording artist who is putting together a collection of songs with a band and doing so by recording at home on a DAW and on a budget, these headphones have worked fine for our needs which have mostly been to monitor while recording tracks. Have not tried them yet for mixing so I cannot comment on how they would work for mixing.

The headphones are fine, they work great, I have nothing much to say about them. What I would like to say is buying with B&H is great. Their website is excellent and provides all the specs you want/need to see. For many (most? all?) items, they provide a very useful comparison to similar products based on the specs. I order online, it's at my house in a day, and shipping is free.

For the money these are terrific headphone. Very comfortable, easy to adjust and a nice long, straight (not curled) cable. They produce a very good sound, not too much on the low or high end but nicely balanced. I use them for video editing in an office environment where using my speakers would disturb everyone else and they work perfectly for this.

Big! And they don't allow for the ear pads to invert for compact storage. Half the price of Sony but don't fit into my camera bag as efficiently. Good noise isolation for in the Feild video production as a one man band.
