Sturdy and responsive boom

This shotgun is my primary hypercardiod microphone for on location shooting and has been a reliable and sturdy unit. I purchased this one to replace the used one I had obtained 2 years older with 3 years of use on it - some frequency response but with a much improved casing. In fact it feels like the response is a little hotter then the previous unit which is nice, so I don't have to bring up to gain on the mixer.

Used for Independant film making. Its very directional and sensitive. Great sound. pretty long but we use it with a boom. Works Great.

Pros: Excellent sound quality with almost no noise. Very good sound rejection from sides and back. Cons: A bit large, but that's a minor detail.

Use it both on camera and at the end of a boom. It's slightly cumbersome on the camera (EX-1) but the sound quality is worth it. It's nicely directional and while it isn't a high end Sennheiser, I'm very happy with it.

Excellent close up shot gun mic. I had it mounted on my Canon XH A1 and recorded a meeting in our office and the up close sound is incredible. Only wish the pick up pattern would be switchable.

I bought this Mike back in 2019, it's an amazing mic for the price and when you pair it with an H6 and some really good XLR chords it will sound really high-quality.

Clean and Crisp. Some room reverb noticable but it is minimal. So far, so good. The only down side is the length... when mounted on the camera, you can see the tip of the mic in your shot. (this is often the case with shotguns though).
