If you're on a budget this is a fine condenser mic. Build quality of the microphone feels nice and weighty. The included mount feels a little cheap, but it does the job. Sound quality is pretty good for the price. If you're familiar with nice quality of other budget friendly Audio-Technical products, this fits in with those products. You get a good product for the money.

Yay! nice mic. I was a little surprised how much gain it needed. Still manageable but a little hot. Is that just my mic or all 2035s? I have never heard this mentioned. But, its a nice mic for my low booming voice. I turned up the gain and volume and heard a jet fly over my house that took a minute. I mean that is pretty sensitive. I couldn't hear the jet with my ears at all.

This mic is used for studio recording of vocals for music and film. Unless you can afford a Neumann this mic will do everything you could wish for. The shock mount could be a little more rugged but that's a very small issue.

This does it's job at a budget price. I have used it up to 50 feet with no problems. I have only used it in rural situation, so I don't know about performance in a city where there are more devices that could cause interference.

I was looking for a mic that was in the $150 range. After reading (and watching) some reviews that compare it to other mics, this was the clear winner IMHO. I've been using it for several weeks now to do basic VO work, and I am very happy with it.

This item is a gift so I'm unsure about it's performance, but I can say that it arrived within 3 days of ordering and was packaged with excellent care. When all other sites were sold out including manufacturer, this company had both items I ordered. Service in purchasing it was outstanding.

Gives warm sound to vocals and clarity to acoustic instruments. Has a great -10db function for those rather loud sessions that need to be toned down a little.

Bought this for voiceovers and it's quality is superb. It's reasonably priced and a solid piece of gear. Requires phantom power, but I bought a USB interface with it so I didn't have to rely on an external mixer. Highly recommend it to one and all.

I use a pair of these mics for a hammer dulcimer and Irish (Uillean) bagpipes. For recording they are very good but very sensitive. Excellent sound reproduction without altering the tone of the instrument. I'll use them for a live performance in a couple of weeks.

I bought the AT2035 to do some home recording mostly for acoustic guitar and vocals and I couldn't be happier. Great price as well. I've just begun to test it's sound capacitance in relation to quality but I'm satisfied with the purchase already. You can't beat the price!

Using the AT2035 for a flute recording. Great detail, but not quite as full or warm as some other mics I've tried. Overall, excellent sound.
