This is a very nice mic for recording audio right into my computer. I use it mainly to create instructional videos and for Zoom conference calls. I love the warm quality it gives my voice. The pick up pattern is decent and I don't need to have it so hot that it picks up a lot of room noise. I believe it was money well spent.

The microphone and headphone are very well build and have nice quality to it. As the headline mentions the microphone mount is very flimsy and cheaply build, it can barely hold the microphone in mounted position.

This is the perfect mic or me. It records My instrument (French Horn) very well right into my laptop or my iPad, I had to get a new cord for that but that was no problem. (USB 2.0 to lightning) no phantom power needed, which means no external power needed, just plug it right into your equipment. A little blue light tells you it's got power.

Great quality product, both fit and finish and sound quality. The included tripod is nice, but for my setup I ended up purchasing a boom. Installation and setup was very easy. I am using it mainly for conferencing while working from home, and it was a massive upgrade in voice quality over my old headset mic.

I have to record podcast type audio in a room that has not been sound-treated, in my limited testing this microphone has made me sound better than any other type of microphone by far, (vs a Lavalier, or a shotgun mic) and it did a pretty good job of ignoring the room echo. I am no musician or sound engineer but for my work this one is solid.

I've been using this for a home studio. It's got a great sound close to professional vocals if you can engineer vocals properly. Great product for the price! Would recommend to any podcaster or at home musician looking for a quality usb mic.

We are using this product to record narration for educational modules created in Articulate. All of the other microphones we have tried had a tin can sound -- this one produces crystal clear sound that is well worth the investment. The mic and stand are solidly constructed, and the USB connection was plug and play on my Dell PC.

This is a really great mic for a beginner and someone who just likes to have fun with garageband (or a similar program). Straight out the box I plugged it into my computer, the program recognized it and asked if it was the mic I wanted to use, and I was good to go! I'm sure for a professional the quality of recording is not top of the line, but it suits me just fine.

I don't use a microphone much but I was using a logitech headset to record, which wasn't working. I saw this and since B&H had such a great discount (and return policy), I figured it was worth a try. I'm not sure how it fairs for professionals but for someone who just does recording for fun or needs a basic microphone with great quality, this is the one.

This microphone was impressive. The clarity and ease of use was outstanding. I didn't like the design of the tripod. The microphone was a little too heavy and it tips over easily when setting everything up.

I was extremely surprised by the overall quality of this mic. If you're on a budget but need to capture great audio, you can't go wrong with this unit. It only takes minutes to set up and start recording. Highly recommended for home and amateur use... will make you sound like the pros!

For the voiceover artist working from the plug-n-play ground up, this mic is a must! You can optimize it with the shock mounts, pop filters, elongated mic stand, but this is a great piece of equipment all on its own!

the mike has amazing quality for a usb mike, and its not a bad price either. however the usb wiggles loose of my computer occasionally, and the first time i plugged it in my computer said device hardware not installed correctly and it can take some wiggling and plugging and unplugging to get the computer to recognize it. perfect mike for someone with a longer patience than me.

My wife is starting a business writing gospel music and need an upgrade from the little laptop mic we initially used as an experiment. I read the reviews and decided to give the AT2020USB a try. We are well pleased with the voice quality. Also the setup was simple. This will be a microphone she can grow her business with for some time to come.

I'm not sure I (or anyone) would use this for pro-caliber recordings, particularly for music, given both the USB situation and the medium+ quality of the mic. But this is the only mic I've used for quick-but-decent voiceover recording for several years. There is not an easier way to get the characteristic clean sound of a large-diaphragm condenser for computer-based voiceover recording.

I bought this and it got shipped on time from B&H as usual. Even during this crazy pandemic they were able to get it out. I was looking to switch from the typical gamer headset, and the switch to this has been positive. Easy to setup and easy to figure out. I would highly recommend it if you are looking for a podcast setup.

I bought this mic to start doing screen casts in my spare time. I really wanted really good sound quality, so I opted for a third party mic rather than the on board webcam mic. This mic is really great, and has a lot of depth and bass. Really enjoy this mic and recommend it highly.

I wanted to record Flute or Sax into my original music with my DAW and needed a decent mic with a simple hookup. What's easier than USB? I looked at the Blue Yeti, MXL2010, AT2020 and others. I purchased the AT2020 because of it's specs/price and couldn't be happier. My flute sounds great with no effects and I can sit 12-18 inches away.

I've had my AT2020 for 10 days and I've already put together a professional voice over demo. This microphone is a great value for beginners - fantastic quality and price for a USB mic. I wish that it had a sturdier travel case , but the slightly lined leather pouch that came with it will suffice . Overall I am VERT satisfied with this purchase direct from B&H
