Crisp, clear, and accurate, with a great range of sounds depending on your distance to the mic. I only wish I didn't need a shockmount or a gooseneck to get it into the correct position if you're micing anything that isn't vocals
should be twice as expensive

the Aston has a very modern, hi fi sound. full bass and detailed top end. very strange looking so it gets a lot of attention.
