I use the dual preamp for audio with dslr video. it works but it's the audio has a fair amount of noise. But for the price it's hard to beat.

I bought the USB Dual Pre - USB 1.1 based on positive reviews and recommendations for use with a Panasonic GH2 DSLR. After several tests and one shoot, I found the audio unacceptably noisy. The noise could be cleaned up in post, but that added more work and who wants to deal with that. This devise is nice for USB to computer, but not ideal for audio to DSLR....

I thought this would be a good solution to use with a TAscam DR100. It's not. it's well built and might be a great interface, but for DSLR shooters? not so much. There aren't level bars and LINE IN disable the DR100's bars. So you're flying blind. Phantom power didn't seem to work at all. Gain ramps up super fast at higher levels. This is not the answer from my experience.
