I bought these a few months ago, they are really good. The noise cancelling is so good it drowns everything out. I have anxiety and the ear buds help me when on the bus all I can hear is the music

I bought this about few weeks back and it's working just as expected. I mean, if I had a problem with it. I would take it up with Apple and not Argos as Argos is just an intermediary and not the actual make. Plus I would not expect a company as big as Argos to have Fake AirPods in store.
