There are certainly less expensive options in this category. The market is flooded with cheap no-name bluetooth earphones that promise to be just as good, not to mention look alike. I have owned my fair share of the headphones and these perform admirably. Everything works as expected and the sound quality is more than good enough. These are no match for actually wired audiophile grade headphones - which cost more, are less portable, and aren't practical on the go. Everything fits into a pocket or into any bag easily. And of course, the software integration with the iPhone is dead easy. No wonder every other person on the train or walking about has a pair. To be frank, I'm posting a review to get in on the chance to win the B&H Gift card. (One can never have too many toys, even at my age.) And it's not like no one has ever heard of AirPods before, or hasn't seen many people wearing them. I don't really expect that my humble opinion is going to sway anyone's decision. That said, I am quite please with my decision to finally pick up a pair of these. I'm not an audiophile, so I didn't do this for the sound quality. I did it for the convenience of having a small set of wireless headphones, and the convenience of something designed to fit in with all of my other Apple-branded gadgets. I was gambling that the one-size-fits-all fit would be better than the 3rd-party ones that I've tried (and it is). Wow these small little headphones sound great. Love the little charging case they come with so discreet when in the ear people think I'm ignoring them when I'm listing to the bangers . My daughter now has a pair also and she says they are all round better than the Beats X headphones which cost more at the time so yes I'd deff recommend these.

I need something for use in my van as a hands free option. The van is noisier than a car so I thought I'd try an ear bud. Originally I purchased Sony noise cancelling ear buds which are fantastic but unfortunately the microphone picked up every noise which made it all worse so they went back. I got the apple ones after a recommend and I have to say I'm over the moon with them. They are perfect for my hands free but still deliver excellent quality sound when listening to music Excellent product

These Airpods are the best on the market no doubt so convenient... Comfortable fitment, load sound, clarity bang on overall worth the money... battery life is really good, connects really quick and easy, have the option to use on other mobile devices as well as computers that support bluetooth, only down side for me is the dust that collects in the charging case but thats an easy clean out with some earbuds

Honestly these worked great for maybe a year. I am not sure if it is Android updates or that these just crap out after a year but I have been having the hardest time keeping them synced properly to my Galaxy S10. When they do sync I can only get sound from 1 airpod at a time and it switches which one it is that works so I cant say its a bad ear piece either. Takes a solid 10 minutes to get them reconnected most times, and half the time they reconnect they are only connected for calls and it wont allow me to connect for music. I know it could be an android thing but I connect to several BT devices in a day and none of them give me the issues that airpods do. Buy another brand or just keep your wired earbuds or headphones, seriously not worth the headaches for android users. ... More

The main reason I bought them is to use them with my laptop (Windows). I have been using headphones(over ear) and because I am wearing glasses, its putting pressure on my ears and I thought to buy in-ear. The AirPods works nicely with the iPhone but it does not work well with the Windows. I connect them via Bluetooth, it works for about 30seconds to 1 minutes, and then nothing, they are still connected in the settings, but no sound whatsoever. I tried every fix i could find, but nothing.

Bought these for my son who had been saving ages for them. He likes the design and quality is good. They stay in his ears and have not fallen out. Good little docking station to power up the Airpods. Expensive but hopefully Apple quality will ensure they work for a long time. I just hope he doesn't lose them...

So impressed with these! My husband had been telling me to get some for ages but I kept putting it off thinking they would fall out all the time and be annoying. But I’ve had them just over a month now and loving it! I fell down the stairs yesterday and they didn’t even fall out! Winning! Well done Apple

I wasn't sure how I would get on with these, but I absolutely love them! My ears suit these type of buds and they stay put whenever I wear them, including during workouts. They sound fantastic and I am quite picky about audio equipment. They work so well with my new iPhone. Just take them out the case and they connect immediately. I love them and now use them multiple times a day, including for phone calls. Sometimes I forget I have them in!

Great AirPods, amazing sound quality, I’m constantly wearing them! Battery life is incredibly long, only charge them once every day/two and I wear them all day. They only take half an hour to fully charge, too. Easily change devices you want to listen from.
