This interface speaks for itself. Great built, great altering converters so you can trust what you hear, high quality plugins like no other, no stress on your computer because of the built in chips and so much more. I have 4 audio interfaces, 2 at my studio facility and 2 at my home studio and let me tell you something. The discrete 4 is the cheapest in price but sound the best. Before the vivid 19 outbreak I was quarantining because of this box. My mixes and mastering was accurate. Such good clock and conversion in my first week of having this I never put back in my other interface at home or in the studio. So easy to operate. I have no cons and I have both pc and Mac computers and the both system t played right off the bat. At first I was mad thinking it was the drivers giving me all the problems but it was my drivers I haven't updated properly like the thunderbolt. I build computers for production and when I realized what I had missed on my side it was nothing but butter from there. If you want quality the. Antelope discrete 4 is for you. Trust me as I say you will never look back again. Take care and enjoy the ride....👍 ... More

I 've been in possession of this sound card for 6 months. It is pleasing that support and updates work very well. So is the map itself. We sometimes rehearse at home and can use it to give everyone a mix in headphones and not make noise. Sound quality at height. Quality of execution and design too! I recommend.

Having used the Discrete 4 for a couple of weeks now, I have to say that I am very impressed the overall feature set of this interface. The preamps are clean and the convertors present a clear and focused stereo image. Being able to monitor FX in real time and record with compression in the signal chain is a great bonus and one that I will use a lot going forward. The quality of the EFX plugins are of a consistent high quality. Running on OSX, the unit seems to be very stable. Despite what some reviewers have said, I found the console software to be pretty straightforward and easy to master, although that is coming from someone who previously used the exceptionally unintuitive RME Totalmix software for the best part of a decade. At this price-point and with 4 preamps and EFX powered by latest generation ARM chips (compared to UAD's underpowered SHARC chips), it is hard to beat really. ... More

Good: preamps are very useful. Clean as a whistle, lots of headroom (I use them for foley). Software control is very handy when it stays connected. Bad: Loses connection to software control very often (as in multiple times daily), and doesn't reestablish until you cycle the power. The unit keeps functioning, you just lose your ability to adjust most of its settings without hardcore menu diving on the physical interface. This can be workflow-crippling, so I have to strongly recommend against this interface for anyone whose use case demands more than "set and forget," which is a real shame because everything else about it is great. (Issues encountered are over USB on multiple versions of Macos.) ... More

I have a small project studio. My old interface was getting unreliable so I decided to upgrade. This unit is amazing. Crystal clear sound, great preamps, great conversion. The latency I get from just the USB 2.0 is crazy low. If I want to put a Thunderbolt card in my system, it'll be even lower. I'm extremely happy with this unit.

I really appreciate the device, I use pc and don't have thunderbolt hence it was a great option, I like the software for the interface, it's easy to use once you understand it, support was very helpful and was on point. The quality is very good and for the price it offers a good connectivity for all my devices. The plug ins are very cool too, diverse and good quality and love the fact you process at the source with FPGA DSP I'ce necer been more fluid! Best option for me atm!

I'm not surprised that many are very eager about this product. It's a gear alternative and for PC users really allows good connectivity. The pre amps are very good sounding and I can't complain about the added functionalities with the plug ins and FPGA DSP processing. A lot if power in this box, if you're no sure to buy honestly go for it, I had no issues and support was very helpful!

It was a bit cumbsersome to get the ThunderBolt and USB connections working properly on Windows. I get an ocassional BSOD upon boot unless I unplug the ThunderBolt cable. Additionally, 192KHz sample rate has serious underruns and artifacts in FL Studio and some DAW's. Some outdated marketing material also made it appear that Auto-Tune Synergy was included free with purchase, and as an existing owner of Auto-Tune Unlimited I was a bit disappointed to not have a license, access or even discount on this FPGA-accelerated plugin. Those gripes aside, this is one of the cleanest, highest quality, lowest latency interfaces and at this price point is unbeatable. ... More

I've just started getting into the potential of this interface and It's really very impressive. I haven't used the most professional interfaces in the past, but this unit augments my Komplete Audio 6, which is decent. This definitely is a major upgrade in terms of hardware, but the software has been equally impressive, or maybe more so. Running the emulations at high sample rates was a revelation. What's more, I've had no technical issues to speak of. So I'd say Antelope Audio has a winner!

I use this interface to strictly record vocals into FL Studio. The plugins sound great and it's pretty easy to use. This device gives me a clean sound and the interface it self is built strongly as I travel with it and never had trouble. The support staff at antelope are also number 1. Overall very happy with my D4SC Interface.

I have been really impressed with this little box. Very powerful with the default plugins. I use it for a very simple 4 mic drum recording setup. It's astounding the amount of sound I have managed extract from this little box and some sm57s live. This replaced my UAD setup and I have never looked back.

The customer sevice has been very helpful and superb. The plugins are worth and the last promotional package was excellent. I can not recommend it enough!
