This mic is amazing. I use it for voice over work in my home and my clients are all pleased with the product. I would definitely recommend it. And for the price, you can't beat it!

I use this in my home studio to record acoustic guitar, and vocals. It works great for both. I like that it comes with a case and the mic mount with an adapter for both sizes of mic stands. It has a full sound and seems to pick up everything. If you know anything about mics you'll know how sensitive condenser mics can be and this one is no exception. If there is a computer on in the same room it will sound like a lawn blower on the recording, so keep that in mind.

Great sound quality, very sensitive. I'm using it for voiceover work, but am impressed enough that I'd like to try it for singing. Haven't used it in live performance. It's heavy enough to tip over my boom mic stand, so I've had to remove the boom.

This is the best microphone you can get for this price; I bought it for recording with may band, and it's amazing to record all kind of things; I can use to recorded voice as well as acoustic instruments, and with an amazing quality.

This is my 2nd condenser mic and I am glad I got it. More sensitive than the AT2020, but overall tone is similar. Bass roll off and 20dB cut is a nice addition. Shock mount and case make this a very nice set to own.

We are an acoustic trio with Mandolin, Guitar, Upright Bass and Soprano and Harmony vocals. This mic lets us perform just like our practice sessions where we stand facing each other and listen while we harmonize. A very real sound. Not a powerful mic but good for medium rooms and small crowds.

Best cheap microphone for Project studio!

It's great, it does what it's supposed to do, works, and gives nice sound quality. It sounds excellent when used on acoustic guitars and vocals. It isn't like pro studio quality, but it is worth way more in my opinion, more like a $600-$700 mic, but that's just my opinion!

For the price this is a great mic. AKG is known for good stuff and this lives up to the expectation. I've used it for electric and acoustic guitar so far, as well as vocals. Very clean and responsive. Would recommend to anyone looking for an affordable all around recording mic.

I am a R&B singer who just started recording my own vocals at home (and then sending my audio to a guy who mixes and masters for me) He cant get my recordings to sound full without stacking the heck out of my takes...this mic is for soft style of music (not power ballads though!!! - the second you start belting it gets tooo high like I've put a filter/eq on the mic to get it to sound super phassey .

Picked it up on a B stock deal. After a couple of weeks, I still have no idea why it was marked B stock. Using it to record acoustic guitar and vocals. Sounds great, built like a tank

This is a great mike for the price. I'm happy with it on vocals and does a great job up against a speaker. It captures sounds cleanly and has low noise.

It's my first cardioid microphone, I'm very pleased with my purchase. Microphone versatile, good for studio, guitar and saxophone.

I have used various AKG cardioid mics and I like them. I wanted an inexpensive mic to compliment my P440 I use for podcasting. The P220 is clean and quiet but it doesn't have the low end that the P440 has. That's OK, though, for the price point. I can EQ it out for different voices.
