Since this is my first condenser mic, I can't speak from experience. But this one seems solidly built, and the recordings it makes in my amateur setup sound very good.

Much better than a dynamic mic for vocals while playing accoustic guitar. Don't have to be as close to the mic, picks up ambient guitar also.

Nice clarity, super solid built...may pick up too much background -but that can be worked over...otherwise a truely pro sounding mic on a budget.

I had read very good reviews about this mic, so I wanted to give it a chance. It feels solid and the making is sturdy, feels like a quality mic. The only con is that my voice and ever voice sounds like treble is set to the max. I would preffer a more natural sound.

All in all when I heard this mic through the stores system I was blow away! I bought it got it home and found out it had to be POWERED! No one at the store told me this and after going on line I found hundreds of others with the same problem. Ya see I bought this mic as a standard singing/acoustic P/U mic to plug into a standard amp. NO GOOD! Ya gotta spend more money for a power supply to get it to work.

I use this equipment for home studio recording. I've recorded with this brand a few times throughout my 17 years of recording, and I don't have any major issues with it. This particular mic doesn't come with a shock proof mic holder, so that was an issue. I haven't used the set up because of said issue, and my desktop isn't compatible with Pro Tools or Ableton Live Lite. I've had my gear for a week today and have yet to record properly with it.
