For long editing sessions the AKG K 240 can't be beat. The most comfortable high quality headphones I've ever used (and I've been using headphones for almost 40 years). Price was so good I bought two.

This is my second K240. Needed one more for recordings with my band. Loved the first so the 2nd was a no brainer. Good sound, comfortable fit, light and not to warm when it's on your head.

The clarity and details are great. The only issue is that these headphones require more gain from amp or pre-amp.

While inexpensive they offer sound quality equal to many more expensive models. I have used them for recording and music listing for years and find them very satisfactory.

Very nice flat response. I was hoping for a little more in the room ambiance dampening but really doesn't effect the listenablity of the phones. Supper comfy muffs too.
