Perfect for me
After years of using inexpensive speakers with mediocre sound, I wanted some good speakers. Two small speakers that can fit on my desk, and don't come with a silly subwoofer. I tried a set of Creative speakers that sounded good, but the combination volume dial-power switch broke after a handful of uses. Speakers for my Tablet.
I bought these mainly for the auto off feature so I could listen to music from my tablet at night without having speakers on all night. They work well for that. They sound nice, sometimes the bass drowns out the music but overall the sound is clear and static free. They get surprisingly loud for the size and low wattage. The auto off feature works well and shuts the speakers down 10-20 minutes after the music stops.

Quality speakers in a small size
The NX-50's are being used as desktop speakers for my MacBook Pro. They have a nice full sound and deliver good rich mid-range with a slight emphasis on the lower frequencies - providing a decent low end response for a small speaker. An attractive speaker that has a quality look, feel, and sound.

The speakers are ok not great
The louder the volume is the better they sound. Would be nice to have better low volume quality
