Impressive, great sound
This thing rocks out on earbuds, portable speakers, and a 4x12 cab. It's very boomy on an amps so the tone needs adjusting. Careful with the volume hooked to an amp as well, a little is a lot. The aux in audio is so useful for playing along with songs or a metronome with the volume being independent for fine tuning what you want to hear more of. I would recommend this, it sounds just as good as an amp modeler fro what it does.

Good idea, but do not last.
It's a great idea and I like the sound, BUT, these things do not hold up. They are not built to last more than a couple months (if that). If Vox could build these better, then I would highly recommend.

Initially excited, ultimately disappointed.
I purchased an AC30 version of this product in January of this year and used it twice in one day and was excited to have something I considered not only useable, but nifty. It was put into a drawer, safely away, then I ordered the G2 Metal version. When the second one showed, (the G2 Metal version) it didn't function straight out of the box. I tried various brands of multiple batteries, rechargeable and otherwise, but nothing would make it work. So I tried the AC30 version again, and it had ceased functioning also.
