Sony MDR-7520 Headphones
These are first-rate headphones! The sound is much better than my old Koss PRO4-AAA headphones. Very flat frequency response actually reminiscent of the old EPI Tower speakers. The price at B&H is much lower than on Sony's own website.

Studio Quality on a Budget
I use these for studio/field recording and feel the sound quality and noise isolation is really good, especially for $. The frequency response is nicely bassy and has a strong midrange, good for testing and pre-mixing, etc.

Good Sound, Not Terribly Portable
The sound quality for the price of these is quite good. They do not fold, and the ear-cups do not swivel flat, so they're not very good for portable use such as in a laptop bag (which was what I'd hoped to use them for).

Simply Superb
These are the best headphones in my possession. Excellent bass, dynamic range and comfort. Outstanding reproduction of classical music and operas. Your expert who recommended the MDR -7520 needs to be congratulated!

Some of the best headphones Ive used
Solid well ballanced sound having extended but true bass response. Very comfortable to wear, some say a little boxy in sound but whats expected of a closed back pair of headphones. Very robust. Highly recomended.

Lightweight and good sound
Lightweight, good sound, fits snug on ears. I put them in my camera bag for monitoring sound. The onky drawback is they don't fold so it takes up more space than my other Sony headphones that I use for editing.

Decent for the price
OK for utility monitors. They are smaller profile than most and we utilize them in a multi-user environment where gear is constantly being brutalized! Workable audio quality, smallish, and inexpensive!

Inferior Sound Quality
These were once wonderful headphones when they were made in Japan. No longer. Manufacturing in Thailand produces an inferior product. Speech is distorted at the high and low end. Dont waste your money.

Good field video production monitoring
I use these for location video production doing interviews and drama. They block out just enough of the surrounding noise to be useful, but not so much that you are unaware of what's happening on set.

Quality +
This set of headphones have excellent frequency response with surprisingly strong bass tones. They are reasonbly comfortable, considering the no-frills design and give a sense of quality workmanship.

Great Sound, Great Price!
I use this for professional audio mixing, film shoots, and listening to music and it's great for it's price. My ears are pretty small so they just on top of them, but the size could be increased.

Best Buy For Filmmakers
I use these headphones when I make my feature films and its fantastic.I hook it up to my RODE Sterio Video Mic and I hear everything its great. The only problem is it falls off your head easily.

Nice sound
Great headphones with nice sound. The earpads are a little bit small, so this can fatigue your ears, and also don't bend, so, this can be an issue if you plan to store in a small carrying case.

Good quality
I had the Sony Mdr 7506 for 3 years and decided to get this one as a replacement. I'm impressed so far. I'm not a sound technician but I can say it does the work well for me. I will buy again.

Great performance, even better price
I use these headphones to monitor audio on my camera as well as for monitoring voice over recording in the studio. They do a great job blocking out ambient noise and do so at a great price.

Great headphones
I use these everyday. Mostly outdoors with ipod. They are durable--metal under over-head casing. Comfortable ear pads. Not too small, not too big--just right. Greatt sound. Powerful bass.

Good
This is good for professional work. Build quality is a 5. Mine broke after 6 months of heavy use. If using for listening to music, be warned: it's cord is very long and ungainly.

Super Fit
I will use the headphones in a small recording studio. The headphones are great because they are not too big or heavy. They deliver solid audio through the entire spectrum.

Fine Headphones
I use these to monitor the audio on my camcorder. They pick-up more background sound than the camcorder does. Haven't had them long enough to know if I like that.
