Good lens for the money
I took my a6000 camera with this lens to take bird pictures in Long Beach, NY. The pictures turned out great and the zoom helped a lot. I wish Sony would come out with 18-270mm lens though.

An excellent lens at an affordable price
Used the lens this weekend to do some outdoor photography, and the pictures came out really good. I purchased this lens as part of my Sony Alpha 6000 purchase since they had a combo-sale.

Excellent on Sony Full Frame
I use that on my A7ii for an effective focal length reach of 80-315mm. It is light, compact and sharp. Focus quickly and is great in outdoor light. Probably not so good for indoor sports.

Good tele, light weight
I use this lens with A6000, This is very good for traveling, light weight and focusing a bit fast on A6000.I got a very good offer from bhphoto when buying this lens together with A6000.

Perfect for daily usage
I use this product for outdoor photography. Zoom factor is good enough for most purposes. In low light conditions especially if you are in a moving veichle result is very bad in night.

Awesome lens
Just used it at a major league baseball game. Incredible photos and video. Image stabilization excellent even at max magnification. Great closeup portraits.Light weight and compact.

Good Value
This represents very good value for entry zoom lens, especially if you manage to get a deal on it. No problems with quality, it's light and complements well 16-50 lens in my case.

It is a great lens!
It is great lens, light weight, yet takes clear & sharp pictures. The only thing I would change is I would buy the other lens 18 to 200. I don't like changing lens back and forth.

Good lens
General photogaphy (whatever catches my eye) and backpacking are my uses. For my purposes so far it has worked very well, has a nice solid feel to it, and takes quality pictures.

Good Lens, Great Price
Took it out for a spin as soon as I got it a few weeks ago. It exceeded my expectations...a lot more durable than I thought and stable. Perfectly integrates with my Sony Nex-7.

Not perfect but acceptable
I purchase this lense along with Hasselblad lunar which is same as Nex-5 for travel camera. It is small and light as I expected, but quality of lense is not good as its name.

Whisker Sharp
I create a lot of photos in churches for a professional classical choir, animals, portraits. This lens delivers a good contrast, sharpness, and fits on the body quite well.

Great lens for Nex 7
Lens takes great pictures, is light weight, and seems durable. Great addition to my Nex 7. The zoom on it is incredible and goes pretty far. Images are crisp and detailed.

Excellent companion for 18-55 Kit lens
5 Start if it were a bit faster. Otherwise, this lens produces outstanding images, and, for me, is a perfect mate to the 18-55 kit lens that came with my NEX-5N. Love it.

Wish I had bought higher mm.
This is barely longer than the standard one that comes with the camera. Next size up is over a thousand dollars. Surely there is something in a more medium price range!

Day time lens
This lens is always over looked part of it is the price. (It's cheap ) I found this lens to be super sharp in direct sun light. That is why this is my sunny day lens .

Compact and lightweight
Lightweight and compact. Good zoom range, but would have accepted a heavier, physically larger lens for more speed. So far, very satisfied with image quality.

Good glass for the price
It is a very good standard zoom lens for the $. I got it along with a6000, so there was a discount too. Only problem I faced is the slow focus in max zoom.

Great for sports shots
I'm not an expert, just trying to take some good shots of my kids playing soccer. The lens and NEX5N exceeded my expectations in terms of picture quality.

Works fine
Its fine for daylight. Low light shooting could require something better than f/4.5, but bought in a bundle with the A6000, this lens is very well priced.

Solidly built
Haven't used this lens much yet but seems like a quality build, and overall the profile isn't too big to overpower the advantages of a Mirrorless camera.
