Good Quality
Good compliment for Sony FS100U and NEX5 cameras. Mount is quick and rigid. I also have the conversion lenses that came with very nice storage cases. Would be nice if this included a case.

I like it!
sharp, very small and light. No vignetting that I've noticed. I've been shooting it at f4-5.6 and it looks sharp. Maybe a bit less so in those distant corners, but all in all a nice lens.

This was definately not for me
I was not pleased at all with this lens, one would think you would get better from Sony. The only good thing was the size. The overall picture quality was less than what I expected.

Perfect for the amateur traveling photographer.
Small, light and inexpensive, but a nice lens. Nice depth of field control. So far it's not showing clarity any issues with my photos. Would have been nice if it had a vase though.

simple wide angle
nice easy to use light weight lens; using it to photograph interiors and tight spaces. very much enjoying it. might buy the extension down the road for an even wider angle.

Great inexpensive glass
Inexpensive wide option for the A6000, 6300 or other APS-C Sony. Compact and easy to carry. 35mm equivalent of 24mm. It just works an fits in a coat pocket on the A6000.

Light and Sharp
Love this lens, small and light, good price and excellent sharpness. Photo attached is close wide angle to test the lens sharpness on my dog's eye with F/2.8. Beautiful.

sharp lens
as compared to the 16mm part of the 16-50mm kit lens its definitely sharper and it's a good base to attach the sony vcl-ecu1 ultra wide lens giving a 12mm wide angle.

Awful
Between f/5.6 and f/11 the center was decent, but the edges are horrible. Wide-open or closed down, it's horrible all over. Blurry, distorted, just all-around awful.

Where we work it's eyes and ears
For us it's durable enough to stand up to our field use. They seal real well when we are out in windy conditions. Our areas have a lot of desert and high winds.

Definitely compact
Good second lens to have for the NEX. It is definitely compact and makes the NEX even more manageable while traveling. Not as used as the 18-55mm lens though.

Completes the package- ALMOST
Great night shots. Urban street smart with tilt screen affords interesting low light perspectives. Would gladly pay for a little more glass, say 1.4.

Not that great!
The kit lens 16-50 at 16mm was better than this lens. This lens is not bad between f4 to f11, but the kit lens is just as good at these apertures.

Its a great set of lense for that awesome closeup shot that you just can't get on the 18-55mm lenses. No Sony Nex-5 or Nex-3 should be without it!

Great Lens

This lens is light weight and great for low light video. The f stop allows the camera to work in conditions where other have no chance.

Good little lens
It's a little smaller than the stock lens, but takes better image quality photos. It won't replace my 50mm but I love it as a back up.
